Jesus Claims To Be the Son of GOD

John 5:17-30, "Jesus said to them (the Jews that persecuted Him for healing on the Sabbath), 'My Father is always at work to this very day and I too am working.' All the more they wanted to kill Him for calling Himself equal with GOD. Jesus gave them this answer, 'I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by Himself, He can only do what He sees the Father doing, whatever the Father does, the Son also does. As the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom He is pleased to give it. The Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son that all may honor the Son as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father Who sent the Son. He who hears My Word and believes Him Who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned...there is a time coming when all who are in their graves will hear His (Jesus) voice and come out - those who have done good will rise to live (eternally) and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned (eternally)...

My judgment is just, for I seek not to please Myself, but the Father Who sent Me.' "

There are two judgments. Those who are saved through Jesus Christ's sacrifice on the Cross for their sins - The Judgment Seat of Christ. (Romans 14:10-11) And, those who have rejected Jesus Christ's sacrifice for their sins - The Great White Throne Judgment. (Revelation 20:11)  The saved are judged for the deeds they have done for Christ. The lost are judged for their sins. The saved are judged from the Book of Life and the lost are judged from the books where their every thought, word, and deed is listed! Revelation 20:11-15, "Then I saw a great white throne and Him (Jesus) Who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from His presence and there was no place for them. I saw the dead (lost) great and small standing before the throne and the books were opened. Another Book was opened which is the Book of Life. The dead (lost) were judged according to what they had done and was recorded in the books . Each person was judged to what he had done (in the flesh). Death and Hades were thrown into the Lake of Fire which is the second death (an everlasting existence.) If anyone's name was not found written in the Book of Life he/she was throne into the Lake of Fire."  The thermal dynamics of eternity does not work on the premise of this fallen universe. People will suffer in a brimstone fire like that of a volcano's lava flow, yet their flesh will not be consumed! There, fire does not give light! For the Bible teaches they will be in outer darkness where there will be gnashing of teeth! (Matthew 8:12) Yet, they can look up into heaven and see what they could have had! (Luke 16:22-24). 

Do you know Jesus' salvation and forgiveness of your sins? Ask Him for the forgiveness of your sins and He will give you salvation and the Holy Spirit will come in and begin His leading, guiding, and directing in your life!

Jesus Heals a Man By a Pool

John 5:1-15, (verse 5), "A man who had been an invalid for 35 years (lay by the pool.) (Verse 6), When Jesus saw him...He asked him, 'Do you want to get well?" (Verse 7), The invalid replied, 'Sir, I have no one to help me into the pool.' (Verse 8), Jesus said to him, 'Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.' (Verse 9), At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked. It was the Sabbath. The Jews said to the man, 'It is the Sabbath; the law forbids you to carry your mat.' (Verse 14-15), Jesus later found the (healed) man at the Temple and said to him, 'See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse will happen to you.' The man went away and told the Jews it was Jesus Who had made him well."

No matter what the affliction, we believers are to proclaim the LORD for His healing! Those who don't receive healing are still to proclaim the LORD. The journey He has for those lives have a greater purpose to glorify Almighty GOD and will receive His greater reward in heaven! They are referred to in the Bible as Crowns. (1 Corinthians 9:25) One Day there will be no more affliction, pain, disease, sorrow, or death. For in heaven there is nothing that defiles! (Revelation 21:27) 

Jesus Heals By His Spoken Word

John 4:46-53, "While Jesus was in Galilee, there was a certain royal official whose son lay sick at Capernaum. When he heard Jesus had arrived, he went and begged Jesus to come and heal his son, who was close to death. Jesus told him, 'Unless you people see miraculous signs and wonders, you will never believe.' The royal official said, 'Sir, come down before my child dies.' Jesus replied, 'You may go. Your son will live.' The man took Jesus at his word and went home. On the way, his servant met him and told him his son lives! When he inquired when his son got better, he was told yesterday at the seventh hour, the exact time Jesus said, 'Your son will live.' So he and all his whole household believed (in Jesus)."

The very Power of Jesus' Word is available even today. His written Word, the Bible's scriptures teaches in Matthew 7:8, "For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." Persist in pursuing GOD. Don't make halfhearted requests. Ask, believing in your heart! In Philippians 4:19, GOD promises those who belong to Him, "...GOD will meet all your needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus."

In His Own Country

John 4:43-45, "After two days, He left for Galilee. Now Jesus Himself had pointed out that a prophet has no honor in his own country. When He arrived in Galilee, the Galileans welcomed Him. They had seen all that He had done in Jerusalem at the Passover Feast, for they also had been there." When Jesus spoke to those He grew up around, many were astonished at His claims of being the Son of GOD! Many throughout history who have accepted Christ as their Savior have had the same rejection from those they knew all their lives who were not Christians. Those who do not know Jesus Christ think it to be foolishness (1 Corinthians 1:18). They have no basis to which they can compare. You can know Jesus Christ and His salvation for you. Come to Him in repentance of your sins and He will forgive you. The Holy Spirit will verify in your soul your salvation in Christ Jesus. Come to Him today and receive your reassurance for eternity! 

You Will Become My Witnesses

John 4:39-42, "Many of the Samaritans in the town believed in Him because of the woman (at the well's testimony). She said, 'He told me everything I ever did!' The Samaritans came to Him...and because of His words many more became believers. They said to the woman, 'We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves and we know that this Man is really the Savior of the world!"

How much more so today with the infilling of the Holy Spirit! Jesus said in Acts 1:8, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you and you will be My witnesses...even to the ends of the earth!" Those having salvation in Jesus Christ receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit and become His witnesses! Receive Jesus as your Savior by repenting of your sins to Him and you will receive the Holy Spirit of Almighty God to lead, guide, and direct your life. Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all you do and He will make your pathways straight."
