Of Which Soil Are You?

Matthew 13:1-29, "Jesus sat by the lake. Such large crowds gathered, He got into a boat. He told them a parable saying, 'A farmer went out to sow seed. As he did so some fell along the path and birds came and ate it up...

'Some fell on rocky places where there was not much soil...

'It sprang up quickly, but the soil was shallow. When the sun came up it scorched the plants and they withered because they had no root.

'Other seed fell among the thorns which grew up and choked the plants.

'Still other seed fell on good soil where it produced a crop - a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown!

'He who has ears, let him hear.

Matthew 13:18-23, The parable of the sower means:  When anyone hears the message about the kingdom (salvation) and doesn't understand it, the evil one (Satan) comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart This is the seed sown along the path.

'The one who received the seed that fell on rocky places who hears the Word and at once receives it with joy. But since it has no root, he lasts only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the Word, he quickly falls away.

DON'T LOSE FAITH

'The one that received the seed that fell among the thorns is the man who hears the Word, but worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth chokes it, making it unfruitful.

'The one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the Word and understands it. He produces a crop, yielding a 100, 60 or 30 times what was sown.' "

Is your life in Christ sowing seed for His eternal Kingdom? Share His Word of salvation and He will do the rest to bring others to His eternal Kingdom! Praise His Holy Name!

Jesus' True Family

Matthew 12:46-50, "While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, His mother and brothers stood by, wanting to speak to Him. 

"Someone told Him, 'Your mother and brothers are standing near wanting to speak to you.' He replied, 'Who is My mother and who are My brothers?'

Pointing to His disciples, He said, 'Here are My mother and My brothers. For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother, sister, and mother.' "

Are you a member of Christ's family? Those who are will spend eternity with Him in His New Heaven, New Earth, and New Jerusalem! Christ's family are those who have come to His salvation by repenting of their sins and accepting Him paying the penalty for their sins upon the Cross. Do so and His Holy Spirit will verify in you your salvation in the One and Only begotten Son of GOD! Jesus is GOD in the flesh. Jesus is the believer's savior. The Holy Spirit is GOD in you; leading, guiding, and directing your path. Call upon Him to do so and His Spirit will show you things you have not known before!

Don't Ask In Unbelief

Matthew 12:38-45, "Some of the Pharisees and teachers of the law said to Jesus, 'Teacher, we want to see a miraculous sign from You.' He answered,  'A wicked & adulterous generation asks for a miraculous sign! But none will be given except the sign of Jonah who was in the belly of a huge fish for three days and nights...

" ' As so the Son of Man (Jesus) will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.'

" ' The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and CONDEMN it, for they repented at Jonah's preaching. Now One is here greater than Jonah (Jesus). The Queen came from the South to listen to Solomon's wisdom and now there is One here greater than Solomon (Jesus).'

" 'When the evil spirit leaves a man it seeks rest and cannot find it so it and seven others enter back where it was. That is how it will be with this wicked generation!' 

As so with the spirits it is so with evil people. Lift your prayers to the LORD and He will hear and answer you. For His Word promises to those who have accepted Him,

"I will never leave you nor forsake you!" Hebrews 13:5

Coming Judgment

Matthew 12:33-37, "Make a tree good and it will be good, or make a tree bad and it will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit.

"You brood of vipers...

"How can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. But I (Jesus) tell you that men (all mankind) will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned."

Will you be judged out of "The Books" or the "Book of Life?" Those not having the salvation in Christ Jesus will be judged from "The Books" which lists every thought, word, and deed they have committed. Those having salvation in Christ Jesus have been forgiven of their sins and will be judged out of the "Book of Life." They will be rewarded for the good in Christ that they have done and will suffer lost of reward for the things that will be burned up as wood, hay, and stubble (works that didn't benefit anyone.) Ask Christ now for forgiveness of your sins and be blessed to be judged out of the "Book of Life!"

Religious Leaders Accuse Jesus

Matthew 12:22-32, "A demon-possessed man who was blind and mute was brought to Jesus, and Jesus healed him so he could both talk and see.

"All the people were astonished and said, 'Could this be the Son pf David?'  But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, 'It is only the devil the price of demons that He drives out demons.'

"Jesus knew their thoughts and said, 'Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined; every house divided against itself will not stand. If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How can his kingdom stand? If I drive out the demons by Satan, by whom do your people drive them out? They will be your judges! I drive them out by the Spirit of GOD, then the kingdom of GOD has come upon you... He who is not with Me is against Me and he who does not gather with Me, scatters. Every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven , BUT the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit WILL NOT be forgiven in this age or in the age to come!' "

The deliberate refusal to acknowledge GOD's power in Christ Jesus is the unpardonable sin. He is the only way to eternal salvation. He paid the price for mankind's sins, but each individual person has to accept that free gift of eternal salvation by coming to Jesus, asking forgiveness of their sins. Have you come to Christ? You can know, for when you in true and sincere heart do ask the LORD to forgive you, His Holy Spirit will confirm this in you!
