Please Pray for a Servant of Our GOD.

Please pray for Doug who has bone cancer. He has been struggling with it for the past 18 months. He was my assistant principal, he is a fellow Christian, husband, father, and a Pastor in his church. He loves his LORD so much, you can see it in every aspect of his life. Pray for his wife Linda, and his three sons. It's so hard to understand why these things happen. Doug is a mighty witness and testimony of the love he has for our LORD. In his witness for his LORD, may many people he comes into contact with be brought into the Kingdom of GOD.

Your friend is in my prayers. It is so hard to understand and someday we will have the answers. I feel like God is saying his job is done here on earth and time for him to come to his glory. What an awesome day that will be. I can only imagine.

I am glad the Hurricane is not going to hit you and your family down there in Florida. I am praying for all the people it hit and is going to hit. I hope people listen to the warnings.
Did you ever have to leave your home?

Hope you are having a good week!

    Blessings & Love

  2. Thank you, Janet. It means so much to remember fellow Christians in prayer. Your words are so true, but it is so hard for family and friends to let a loved one go. I can hardly wait for That Day when the LORD will wipe all of our tears away and JOY will be with Him and our loved ones forever!

THe LORD has surely blessed to keep hurricane Irene out in the Atlantic. I pray it will lose its strength before making landfall!! The eastern seaboard just got over the rare and unusual earthquake! The epicenter was suppose to be near Arlington National Cemetary. One of my e-mailers said (in light)it was because of the forefathers rolling over in their graves concerning where this government is headed!

We lived through quite a few hurricanes when we lived in the Florida Keys. When the last three within a month occurred here a few years ago, we stayed in our homes (we weren't on the coast.) It still was nerve racking!

    Love to you and yours,
    Susan
