Hi! I'm Jerry! I like to talk a lot! Some of my vocabulary is:
GOD bless mom. (When I sneeze.)
God bless gramma. (When she would sneeze. He knew the difference even when we weren't in the room.)
Mom's gotta go to work. You be good!
Stop that! MOM!!! (When he needs help!)
Who who who (is how his laugh sounds!)
Where's Jerry? Peek-a-boo!
I wanna go see gramma. (So I take him to see her picture now that she has passed on into GOD's presence.)
What you doin'?

He knows a whole bunch more! His vocabulary just keeps going on. When he is learning something new, it sounds like a garble "under his breath." Then within a few days, out comes the new sentence!

He is 18 years old. I've had him since he was about 6 weeks old. I had to hand feed him a liquid mixture for about 8 months which the vet gave to me. His favorite fruit is bananas. His favorite vegetable is the stalks left when you cut the leaves off of the collard greens. His main food is the Harrison's brand food which incorporates what they would get in the wild. It comes in dry pellets.
He likes to ride on my shoulder when I walk around the house.  Since he's the oldest of all of my pets, they know he's head of the "pack." The dogs and cats get along with him well. The new kittens run from him when he hollers at them to, "Go, go, go!!!" The dogs quietly turn around and walk away, ha!

I would loved to visit you. I think your bird would keep me laughing. What a housefull of kids you have and you are just the person that the Lord sent to take care of his creatures.

He is a pretty funny guy I have to say. How old do birds like that live?? I know parrots can live to be over 100 years old. Amazing!
