What Faith Is Not.

Faith Is:

Psalm 40:4, faith is not honoring men of pride.

 

Psalm 52:7, faith is not placed in one's own goods, prosperity, or wealth.

 

Psalm 62:10, faith is not placed in receiving rewards for evil doing to gain wealth. 

 

Psalm 146:3, faith is not to be placed in rulers.

 

Isaiah 59:14, faith is not to be seen in the public place to be paraded for one's own benefit.

 

Jeremiah 29:31, faith is not placing your trust in false beliefs.

 

Micah 7:5, faith is not to be placed (100%) in a friend or faith in a relative. Our faith is placed in GOD alone Who leads our family/us and friends to assist and confide in one another.

 

Romans 1:16 & I Peter 2:16, faith is not ashamed of the Gospel.

 

Romans 2:28, faith is not circumcision of the flesh, but circumcision of the heart.

Romans 11:20, faith is not proud.

Romans 12:3, faith is not thinking more highly of yourself than others.

Romans 14:1, faith is not doubting.

Romans 14:22, faith is not self condemning.

I Corinthians 2:5, faith is not emotional "footwork."(To appear exalted before others.)

I Corinthians 15:14, 17, faith is in vain if one doesn't believe in Christ's resurrection.

II Corinthians 5:7 & Hebrews 11:1,7, faith is not by sight.

Galatians 2:16, faith is not justified by works.

Galatians 3:12, faith is not in the law, but in Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2:8, faith is not of our self, but of GOD's grace.

II Thessalonians 3:2, faith is not in all men.

I Timothy 1:5 & II Timothy 1:5, faith is not assumed.

I Timothy 5:8, faith is denied by anyone who does not provide for relatives.

Hebrews 11:27, faith is not fearing man.

James 2:17 & Galatians 2:16, faith is dead without works. Works doesn't bring about faith, but faith brings about works.

Revelation 2:13, faith is not denying Christ.
