Jesus' Death On The Cross

John 19:28-37, "Knowing all was now complete and so that the Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, 'I Am thirsty.' Soaking a sponge in a jar of wine vinegar, it was put on a stalk of the hyssop plant and lifted to Jesus' lips. When He received it, Jesus said, 'It is finished.' With that He bowed His head and gave up His Spirit.

"Because the Jews didn't want the bodies still alive on the crosses on the Sabbath, they asked Pilate to have the legs broken of those still alive, then take them down (upon their deaths). The Roman soldiers did so, but when they came to Jesus, they found He was already dead. One pierced Jesus' side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow blood and water.

"This happened so that the Scripture would be fulfilled: 'Not one of His bones will be broken' (Exodus 12:46, Numbers 9:12, Psalm 34:20) and another Scripture, 'They will look on the One they have pierced' (Zechariah 12:10)."

Christ came to be the One and Only sacrifice for mankind. The world went dark when He took upon Him every single sin of every human being He has or will create, from Adam and Eve to the last human being He will create in the future. It's been done for you whether you believe in Him or not! The results are if you have accepted His free gift of salvation for you, you will spend eternity in His New Heaven, New Earth, and New Jerusalem. If you refuse His free gift of salvation for you, you will spend eternity in the Lake of Fire paying for you own sin for an eternity! 1 Thessalonians 5:9 tells us, "GOD did not appoint us to suffer (His) wrath but to receive salvation through our LORD Jesus Christ." Let your name be in His Book of Life! For those who refuse Jesus Christ will find as Revelation 20:15, "If anyone's name was not found written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the Lake of Fire." If you have not, choose Jesus to be your Savior now and forever! "Jesus Loves you this I know, for the Bible tells me so."
