John 20:10-18, "The disciples went back to their homes, but Mary stood outside the tomb crying. As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb and saw two angels in white seated where Jesus' body had been, one at the head and the other at the foot.
They asked her, 'Woman, why are you crying?' She said, 'They have taken away my LORD and I don't know where they put Him.'
At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not recognize that it was Jesus. 'Woman, why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?' Thinking He was the gardener, she said, 'Sir, if you have carried Him away, tell me where you have put Him.' Jesus said to her, 'Mary.' She cried out, 'Rabboni!' (Which means Teacher.) Jesus said, 'Do not hold on to Me, for I have not returned to the Father. Go instead to My brothers. I Am going to return to My Father and your Father, to My GOD and your GOD.'
Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: 'I have seen the LORD!' And she told them that He had said these things to her."
The Bible teaches that Jesus was seen by Mary, the Disciples, and 500 other people. I Corinthians 15:6 says, "He (Jesus) appeared to more than 500 sisters and brothers at one time." The Bible is a historical record of this eye witness account of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ! It amazes me that belief in the historical records of a country written by their countrymen are accepted, but so many don't want to accept these historical records of Almighty GOD's salvation for mankind! The Bible is written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit which every believer in Christ has. Those who reject Him do not have this gift from Almighty GOD! Satan influences their thinking to reject anything having to do with our Creator and Savior GOD. Rejection will be no excuse when each person created stands before Almighty GOD's judgment seat. Accept Christ as your Savior and have eternal life, reject Him and have eternal damnation. There are no other choices! There is no chance to change your mind after you die! For the Bible says of the unbelievers in Revelation 20:12-15, "the dead, great and small, standing before the Throne (of Christ), and the books were opened. Another Book was opened which was the Book of Life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead, death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them and EACH PERSON WAS JUDGED according to what he had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the Lake of Fire. This is the second death. If anyone's name was not found written in the Book of Life, he/she was thrown into the Lake of Fire." Remember, death doesn't mean a going out of existence. Death is a separation. When a person "dies" in this world, they either are met by Christ if they are saved, or they are awaiting judgment in a place of holding that is a "preview" of what eternal punishment will be. Once the Great White Throne Judgment is made on each individual who rejected so great a salvation in Jesus Christ, he/she will spend eternity paying for their sin. Believers in Christ have been saved from this because Jesus paid our penalty upon the Cross. He has paid for yours too, but you have to claim His salvation in accepting that you are a sinner. Humble yourself, ask for His forgiveness and He will enter you by the Holy Spirit and you will never be apart of the Great White Throne Judgment! You will spend eternity with our Almighty, Awesome, Creator, Savior, Holy Father GOD! What He has in store for us, our finite minds cannot comprehend. But, one day our minds will be made infinite and we will see, experience, and participate forever in His glory! Hallelujah to His Name!
