Jesus shares about divorce in Matthew 5:31-32, "It has been said, 'Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce.' But I tell you anyone who divorces his wife, except for marriage unfaithfulness, causes her to become an adulteress, and anyone who marries the divorced woman commits adultery."
Would believers want Christ to divorce them! The Christian bond with Jesus our Savior is like a marriage between Him and His Church! The Wedding Feast of the Lamb and His Church is awaiting all those who accept Jesus as their Savior and LORD. It is a one time event never to be reversed as so earthly marriages should be in Christ with husband and wife.
