Armor of GOD, Sword of the Spirit

Ephesians 6:17b, "Take...the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of GOD."

Hebrews 4:12, "For the Word of GOD is Living and Active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."

I Corinthians 14:25, "The secrets of the heart will be laid bare."

Know the WORD of GOD by reading the Bible everyday. There is so much GOD has to say to us that reveals His Love, mercy, grace, salvation, and eternal life with Him!

Christ Has Power Over ALL FLESH.

John 17:2, "As Thou (GOD the Father) has given Him (Jesus the Son) power over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as thou has given Him." 

In many translations the 'over all flesh' says 'over all people,' but when you look at the original Greek writing the word 'people' is the Greek word basar which means FLESH. As has already been shared in past posts, flesh means all flesh whether it is the flesh of men or animals. Flesh is flesh whether it is that of man, beasts of the field, birds of the air, fish of the sea, creeping things; which includes all mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, even insects! In the Garden of Eden, each group of flesh had its purpose. They were even brought to Adam to give them their names. (Genesis 2:19-20)

Christ Jesus created them all!

John 1:1, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with GOD, and the Word was GOD. He (Jesus) was with GOD in the beginning." Jesus is the Word.

John 1:3, "Through Him (Jesus) ALL THINGS WERE MADE. Without Him (Jesus) nothing was made that has been made."

This brings us back to Jesus having all the power over all the flesh He has created. Man in the fallen state has to answer for his own sin because he was made in the image of GOD. (Genesis 1:26) The animals are not accountable for sin because they are not made in His image.

Jesus is GOD in the flesh Who came to be our sin bearer. Those who accept Him paying the penalty for their sin, have been forgiven and receive eternal life with Him. Those who refuse His free gift of salvation will receive eternal punishment in the Lake of Fire that burns forever and ever. (Revelation 20:12-15)

Acts 16:31, "Believe in the LORD Jesus and you will be saved; you and your whole household!" 

Revelation 20:12-15, The dead in Christ (those not accepting His free gift of salvation) are judged. "Anyone whose name was not found written in the Lamb's Book of Life were thrown into the lake of fire." Jesus is the Lamb slain for the peoples' of the world sins. (John 1:29)

The animals are not included in this judgment. They did not sin. They will be brought back to life on the New Earth.

Romans 8:21, "The creatures themselves will be liberated from death and decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of GOD!"

Armor of GOD, Helmet of Salvation

Ephesians 6:17, 18 "Take the Helmet of Salvation and pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests."

What are some of the kinds of prayer?
           1. Thanksgiving
           2. Praise
           3. Supplication-requests for self or others

The first prayer of anyone is the believer's prayer for salvation which is a supplication's request. In humble prayer, one asks Almighty GOD for salvation in the Name of Jesus Christ Who paid the penalty for all mankind's sins. Christ Jesus will honor your humble prayer and His Holy Spirit will enter you and begin leading your life. Read His Word to know what that leading includes!

Let the Animals in the Sea Inform You

Job 12:8, "Let the 'fish' in the sea inform you."

It's amazing the number of stories where dolphins have saved humans from different kinds of difficulty, swimmers, survivors from capped sized boats, some even where dolphins have attacked sharks in protecting the human(s) in the water. Above, a shark was about to attack a human when a pod of dolphins came to his rescue.

GOD's animals are amazing!

Psalm 8:6,8, "You (GOD) made man ruler over... all that swims the paths of the sea."

Psalm 69:34, "Let heaven and earth praise Him (GOD), the seas and all that are in them."

GOD's greatness is manifested to all His creation. As seen in the following verse from:

Ezekiel 38:20, "The fish of the sea, birds in the sky, beasts of the field, every creature that moves along the ground, AND the people on the face of the earth will tremble at My Presence."

All GOD's creation will know Who He is and will tremble at His Holiness! Which group of trembling will you belong to; those trembling with awesome joy for their salvation in Christ, or those trembling in great fear due to the eternal judgment coming upon them for rejecting so great a salvation in Christ Jesus?

Armor of GOD, The Shield of Faith

Ephesians 6:16, "Take up the shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one."

Psalm 18:30, "GOD is a shield for all who take refuge in Him."

Psalm 18:35, "(GOD) You give me Your shield of victory, the shield of thy salvation."

Do you have the LORD GOD's shield of salvation to protect you? You can have His victory of salvation by simply repenting of your sins and asking Him to to save you from your sins. He will and His protective shield will guard you against Satan's fiery arrows (Ephesians 6:16)

Gorillas Save Human Children

A young boy fell into the gorilla habitat. The "mothering" instinct of one of the gorilla's immediately took place as she began caring for the unconscious child. Through commands to the gorilla and her complying to the animal keepers, they were able to rescue the child.

Another similar  incident occurred this time with a large male gorilla who treated with care the child in need.

Animals helping mankind. The Spirit of GOD moves in mysterious ways.

Psalms 77:14, "You are the GOD Who performs miracles; You display Your power among the people." 

These were times the LORD GOD performed His miracles among people watching, when He led the gorillas to not harm the children who fell into their habitats.

Armor of GOD - Shoes of Peace

Ephesians 6:15, Stand firm "With your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace."

Isaiah 52:7, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say, 'Your GOD reigns!"

Philippians 4:7, "The peace of GOD which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."

Do you have the Peace that passes all the understanding of this world? Salvation in Jesus Christ brings you a peace this world can never give to you. If you don't know your Almighty Saving GOD, you can! Accept you are a sinner. Accept Jesus paying your penalty for your sins when He was on the Cross sacrificing Himself for your sins. When you do, the Holy Spirit will confirm in you His salvation and then knowing our Awesome, Almighty, Creator, Savior, Holy Father GOD will begin to open your heart to Who He really is! Hallelujah!

Romans 10:15, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news (of Jesus Christ and His salvation.)"

GOD's Amazing Animals

Proverbs 30:18-19, "...things too amazing for me...I do not understand. The way of an eagle in the sky, the way of a snake on a rock."

Animals have been given jobs by Almighty GOD. A fish obediently keeps money in its mouth until Peter catches it and retrieves the money as Jesus instructed.

Matthew 17:27, Jesus instructs Peter, "Go down to the sea, and throw in a hook; take up the first fish that comes up, and when you open its mouth you will find a shekel. Take it and give it to them (tax collectors) for Me and for yourself."

Next Sunday, I will share some other stories of animals helping mankind. The LORD surely has created amazing animals and they respond to Him even with man not realizing it unless you understand the moving of the Holy Spirit!

Armor of GOD, the Breastplate of Righteousness

Ephesians 6:14, "Stand firm...with the breastplate of righteousness in place."

To those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior, His righteousness is transferred to His followers to do His will.

Isaiah 60:16-17, "You know that I, the LORD, am your Savior, your redeemer, the Mighty One...Instead of bronze I will bring you gold, and silver in the place of iron. Instead of wood I will bring you bronze and iron in place of stones. I will make peace your governor and righteousness your ruler." 

Psalm 7:10, "My shield is GOD Most High who saves the upright in heart."

Jesus gives us power and strength to do His will, endure the things of this fallen world, and guidance by His Holy Spirit in us. Allow Jesus' righteousness to fill you that you may know the will GOD has for you.
