Father GOD's True Kingdom

The LORD's Prayer continues from last week.

Matthew 6:10, "...Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven."

Kingdom come refers to GOD's Spiritual reign. It was announced in Abraham's covenant (Matthew 8:11, Luke 13:28). It is present in Christ's reign in Believers hearts (Luke 17:21) and will be complete when all evil is destroyed and GOD establishes the New Heaven and the New Earth (Revelation 21:1).

Inanimate Objects Give Praise

In the New Heaven, New Earth, and New Jerusalem, not only will man be praising our Awesome, Almighty, Creator, Savior, Holy Father GOD, but what we call in this fallen world, "inanimate objects" will be praising GOD in all His glory!

Isaiah 55:12, "The mountains and hills will lead the parade, bursting with song! ...

"...All the trees of the forest will join the procession , exuberant with applause!"

The science of this fallen world rejects this possibility of mountains, hills, and forests praising their Almighty Creator because they don't have intelligence or vocal cords! But Scripture further speaks of this in that man's wisdom is not that of GOD's!

Isaiah 55:9, "As the universe is higher than the earth, so are My (GOD) ways than your (man) ways, and My (GOD) thoughts than your (man) thoughts."

I Corinthians 1:21, "Since in the wisdom of GOD, the world through its wisdom does not know Him."

I Corinthians 3:19, "For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in GOD's sight."

Since the unbelievers don't understand GOD's wisdom through salvation, they see the things of GOD as foolishness, when in reality they are the fools.

Not only will those created things labeled as "inanimate objects" praise Almighty GOD, but His restored animal kingdom will also!

Romans 8:21, "The creatures themselves will be liberated from death and decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of GOD."

The animal kingdom will also verbally praise GOD and not with whinnies, baas, moos, and nays! Even the sea animals will praise Him!

Psalm 148:7, "Praise the LORD, you great sea creatures!"

Is it so "unbelievable" that animals will praise Almighty GOD their Creator throughout eternity when the mountains, hills, and trees of the forests will be praising and applauding Him! 

Father GOD's Holiness

Matthew 6:9 a, "Our Father in heaven, Holy is Your Name..."

Holiness is of GOD. Man in our fallen bodies can't comprehend Holiness! But we can see His glory even now in His creation.

GOD's glory is in all that we see. The birds in the trees, the sound of a brook tumbling down its way, the beauty of a bright clear spring morning sky, the green pastures with cattle feeding their bellies full! So many other gorgeous sights of a star filled sky! 

Psalm 19:1, "The heavens declare the glory of GOD; the skies proclaim the work of His hands."

Christ Jesus, GOD in the Flesh, came to earth and became our sacrifice on the Cross for our sins. He has made those who accept his atonement for their sins His child. Christ's Holiness has made us holy, because "our sins have been cast into the depths of the sea." (Micah 7:19) And Isaiah 43:25 further explains, "He (GOD) blots out our sins and they are remembered no more."

Have you been made holy for having Jesus Christ's forgiveness of your sins? All you need do is repent of your sinful nature and ask Christ to forgive you. Upon doing so, the Holy Spirit will come into you and your life will change. Begin to see the beginning of GOD's Holiness in seeing the glory in Him and His creation. One day in our new bodies we will be able to look upon the fullness of His Holiness! For now in this fallen state GOD's Word says,

John 1:18, I John 4:12, "No one has seen GOD, but if we love one another, GOD lives in us and His Love is made complete in us."

GOD is Holy and one day we will be in His Holiness and see Him Face to face in all His Holiness and glory!

GOD Uses Snakes for His Purposes

Numbers 21:5-9, "They spoke against GOD and against Moses saying, 'Why have you brought us out of Egypt to die in the desert! There is no bread! There is no water! And we detest this miserable food (the manna from heaven)!' Then the LORD sent venomous snakes among them; they bit the people and many Israelites died. The people came to Moses and said, 'We have sinned when we spoke against the LORD and you. Pray that the LORD will take the snakes away from us.' So Moses prayed for the people. The LORD told Moses, 'Make a snake and put it on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.' So Moses made a bronze snake and put it on a pole. When anyone was bitten and looked at the bronze snake, they lived."

In complaining the people refused to obey GOD's Law. They quickly forgot the miracles He had already performed in their very sight!

The Israelites complaining led to thoughtless actions and attitudes on their part. GOD used venomous snakes to punish the people for their unbelief and complaining. 

The bronze snake lifted up is a symbol of when in the future, Christ Jesus would be lifted up on the Cross for the sins of mankind. Anyone looking to Christ Jesus for forgiveness of their sins will be saved as were the Israelites from the venomous snake bites.

Jesus Teaches About Prayer

Matthew 6:5-13, "When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to stand in the synagogues and on street corners to be seen by men. But when you pray, go into your room and close the door to pray to your Father Who is unseen. Then your Father Who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. Don't babble as pagans do. They think they will be heard because of the many words they speak. Do not be like them. This is how you should pray:

'Our Father Who art in heaven,

Holy is Your Name.

Your kingdom come,

Your will be done

on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

Forgive us our sins

as we forgive those who sin against us.

Lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from the evil one."

Next week, the LORD's Prayer will be taken in context by each part and what it means to us.

Different Kinds of Flesh

Past posts have mentioned when FLESH has the word "basar" in the Greek which means all flesh.  It has also been previously mentioned about man being the only one who sins and needs salvation from sin, the animals do not need forgiveness of sin. All Flesh signifies the animal kingdom and the saved of Israel and the Church in Luke 3:6.  Many translations say "all mankind," but again this word in the Greek is "basar" which speaks of the flesh of not just man, but also of  animals:

I Corinthians 15:39, "All flesh is not the same: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another of beasts, another of fish, and another of birds."

Luke 3:6, "All flesh will see GOD's salvation."

His chosen of Israel, His Church, and His animal kingdom will see GOD's salvation from death and decay.

Even those who reject the salvation of Christ Jesus will see GOD's salvation for His elect and the animal kingdom. Luke 16:22-26 speaks of one banished to hell, being in torment, looking up and seeing Lazarus in heaven. Make sure you have the salvation of your Creator so you may forever spend eternity in a new body, in a new heaven, new earth, and new Jerusalem. Be forever in the presence of Almighty GOD the Father, Jesus the Savior, and the Holy Spirit along with the saved of Israel and the Church, the angels, and GOD's animal kingdom!

Romans 8:21, "All creatures will be liberated from death and decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of GOD."

Pray Always

Finishing up with "Putting on the Armor of GOD," we are told to pray.

Ephesians 6:18, "Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints (believers in Christ Jesus)."

Everything in Heaven and On Earth

Ephesians 1:10, "At the right time, GOD will bring everything under the authority of Christ, EVERYTHING in heaven and on earth."

Every dimension of creation is touched when GOD's long-awaited Kingdom comes, "on earth as it is in heaven." (Matthew 6:10)

Isaiah 11:6, "The wolf will lie down with the lamb...

"...the leopard will lie down with the goat...

"...the lion and the yearling together...

"...and a child will lead them."

Romans 8:21, "The creatures themselves will be liberated from death and decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of GOD."
