Thine is The Kingdom

Matthew 6:13 has a notation of older manuscripts containing an ending to the LORD's Prayer, "For Thine is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory forever. Amen"

Those Chosen of GOD are listed in Ephesians 1:4-5, "He (GOD) chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In Love He predestined us to be adopted as His sons (and daughters) through Jesus Christ in accordance with His pleasure and will."

Ephesians 1:11-12 continues, "In Him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of Him Who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will."

GOD chose us before we chose Him. All we needed to do to receive this greatest gift of salvation was to admit He is our salvation. His Holy Spirit leads all His own to receive Him now and forever more to be with Him in all His glory for eternity! Have you accepted Christ Jesus as your savior from your sins?  Jesus said, "I Am the way, the truth and the Life. No one comes to Father, but through Me." (John 14:6)

GOD's Variety of Wild Ox

There are many different kinds of oxen. You can clearly see the split hoof on the musk ox above. They also have the split hoof that the Bible speaks about in Deuteronomy 14:6, "You may eat any animal that has a split hoof divided in two and that chews the cud."

Many of the wild oxen have been domesticated on farms as the following picture shows. Isaiah 51:20 shares, "Your sons have fainted...like the wild ox caught in a net." I wonder what kind of net they had to catch the ox below!!!

Another wild ox that was almost eradicated in the early western days of the United States was the American Buffalo. Praise the LORD their herds have greatly multiplied due to the protection act!

Another wild ox is the Water Buffalo. Get a "load" of those horns!

I surely would not want to come upon one of them in the wild!

GOD is so amazing in the variety of each species He has created! But GOD's most important creation is man! GOD even created man in His image! (Genesis 1:27) That's how important we are to Him! Even more so, GOD showed how much He Loves us in that He came to earth in Jesus Christ and died for mankind to be reconciled to Him by taking all of our sins upon Him! You can be forgiven! Accept Christ taking your penalty of sin and be saved to His eternal Kingdom where we will be with Him forever! His animals will be there too! Romans 8:21, "The creatures themselves will be liberated from death and decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of GOD."

Deliverance From Temptation

Matthew 6:13, "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one."

GOD doesn't lead us into temptation, but sometimes He allows us to be tested by them. As His disciples did, we must pray to be delivered in these trying times when the worldly would want us to live the way of the world. GOD promised His followers:

I Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. But, GOD is faithful to not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. When you are tempted, He will also provide a way out that you can stand up under it."

Many lost have come to Christ's salvation from the sins of yielding to the temptations of this world. The reality has to be made more provident to some than others before they yield to the knowledge of Almighty GOD's salvation for them. But it's never too late! Today is the day for salvation! Don't put it off, for you don't know if your next breath will be your last. There IS NO SALVATION once you die. You have to make the decision in this world, not the next! So the next time you are tempted think...

GOD's Variety of Wild Goats

This is the second in the posting of GOD's Animal Kingdom mentioned in the Bible. Wild goats are the subject.

Deuteronomy 14:4-6 speaks of the clean animals man was allowed to eat. "You may eat of any animal that has a split hoof divided in two and that chews the cud." The wild goat is listed in verse 5.

I Samuel 24:2, "So Saul took three thousand chosen men from all Israel and set out to look for David  and his men near the Crags of the Wild Goat."  Even a place in the Bible was named for the wild goats.

Job 39:1, "Do you know when the wild goats give birth?" GOD is questioning Job's knowledge in comparison to His.

Psalm 104:18, "The high mountains belong to the wild goats." GOD even makes provisions for these marvels of His creation!

How much more our Almighty GOD provides for those who belong to Him. Do you know Him as your Savior! As much as He loves and provides for all His creatures, He also provides for those who know His salvation! Jesus Christ died on the Cross after He took upon Him all your sins. We can not reconcile ourselves to our Almighty GOD! Only Jesus, the perfect sacrifice, can do that. Ask the LORD to forgive you of your sins. Begin living for Him and His Holy Spirit will verify in your soul you are His child for ever! Praise our Awesome, Almighty, Creator, Savior, Holy Father GOD!!!

Forgiveness

Matthew 6:12, "Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who have sinned against us."

Forgiveness is a two way street. As Christ Jesus has forgiven us we must forgive others. Peter, Christ's disciple asked Jesus in Matthew 18:21, "LORD, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?" Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy times seven!" In other words every time!

This passage further states in Matthew 6:15, "But if you DO NOT forgive men their sins, your Father GOD will not forgive your sins." Again, forgiveness is a two way street.

Christ died for all mankind's sins. He paid the ultimate price that man would not have to pay for his own sin in an eternal hell, a Lake of Fire

Revelation 20:15, "Anyone whose name was not found written in the Lamb's Book of Life was thrown into the Lake of Fire." "The Lake of Fire is the second death." (Revelation 20:14)

Again, death does not mean going out of existence, it is an eternal place one will spend forever and in torment with the devil and his angels. (Revelation 20:10) 

Choose Life eternal with our Awesome, Almighty, Creator, Savior,  Holy Father GOD! All you need do is ask forgiveness of GOD to forgive your sins and then forgive others as GOD has forgiven you!

GOD Loves Variety

GOD created each individual to be completely different, even identical twins. We all have our own unique personality, disposition, and attitude. He created His animal kingdom in the same manner.

I'm starting a new "chapter" dealing with the animals GOD's Word mentions in scripture. The first is the animals above named, Hart or as we commonly know them to be gazelle or of the deer family.

There are at least eight mentionings of this animal. They are listed in the gazelle and deer family. GOD gave them for meat to eat by man.

Deuteronomy 12:22, "Eat them (hart) as you would gazelle or deer." In most of our modern translations they are spoken of as gazelle or deer rather than hart. The older translations uses the name "hart."

The other mentions in scripture are:  Deuteronomy 12:15, 14:5, 15:22, I Kings 4:23, Lamentations 1:6, Psalm 42:1, Isaiah 35:6. 

These animals were created and were placed in the Garden of Eden. The LORD delighted in His Creation. They will be restored during the Millennium reign of Christ as so the earth will be as the Garden of Eden. Satan will be bound in the bottomless pit and unable to tempt man. As Almighty GOD delights in His saved humanity to live with Him forever in the New Heaven, New Earth, and New Jerusalem, He will also restore His animal kingdom to be forever with Him and all those Chosen of Israel and Christ's Church. Romans 8:21 promises this: "The creatures themselves will be liberated from death and decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of GOD."

Jesus Is Our Sustenance

Matthew 6:11, "Give us today our daily bread."

Proverbs 30:8 "...give me neither poverty or riches, but give me only my daily bread."

Not only does our body need food for nourishment, but our spirit also needs to be fed. GOD's Word tells us in Matthew 4:4, "Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every Word that comes from the mouth of GOD,"

John 6:35 "Jesus declares...

"...he who comes to Me will never go hungry, he who belongs to Me will never be thirsty."

Come to the LORD in the salvation He has for you by paying your penalty for sin while upon the Cross.  For Jesus GOD proclaims, "I Am the Way, the Truth, the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." (John 14:6)

Ravens Call on GOD for Food

Psalm 147:9, "The LORD provides food for the cattle..."

Deuteronomy 11:15, "I (GOD) will provide grass in the fields for your cattle."

Psalm 147:9, "...and He provides for the ravens when they call!" 

Job 38:41, "Who provides food for the raven when its young cry out to GOD and wonder about the lack of food?"

GOD provides for all of His creatures! How much more so He cares for us because we are made in His image. (Genesis 1:27)

I Peter 5:7, "Cast your anxieties (cares, worries) on Him (Jesus) for He cares for you!"

Philippians 4:19, "GOD will meet all you needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus." If you know Jesus as your Savior, He has made this promise to you!
