After another day of full, non-stop play, Cody finally decides to take a rest; however not for long, ha!

They both only rest for a few minutes and then it's back to chasing one another full blast around the room!

The Rainy Season Has Set In.

The last few days has brought us much needed rain. It started out being in the morning. A day later it moved to the afternoon, finally now raining into the night. Hopefully this will cut down on the fires that have been bad in some areas.

It has really cooled off our days. However, it doesn't take long for the heat to come back. Thank the LORD for air conditioning!

Hurricane Season Begins Today!

June first begins our hurricane season even though it seems it has already started in May with 2 tropical storms (and that's just in the Atlantic!) The Pacific has already had two as well!

I am already prepared. I have no loose objects outside. I have cleared my back porch of all things but my swing which I have place the big bench on the patio level. It was there when we went through the three hurricanes within about as many months back a few years ago.

Our rainy season has started. I really like rainy days (especially now that I don't have to get out in it!)

Rain seems to have a peaceful, calming effect on me. It gives such a cleansing to the atmosphere, driveway, and plants!

Coming Up On One Year!

I can't believe that it has been a year come June first! The time has gone quicker than when I use to work! I guess my busyness with my Weekly Bible classes at church, video taping the sermons for the internet, and my days out with "the girls" has kept me busy. I think it's because it has been a happy involvment rather than a "work load" involvment, ha! By the way, if you want to see what I video taped click on recent messages

Growing By Leaps and Bounds (Literally!)

Get a load of those long legs! Cody is going to be one big cat! He's only 8 1/2 weeks old now!

Katy likes to sleep on her back. But, what a surprise when Cody decides to jump in the middle of her, ha!

However, it's not always a rivalry!

They really like Sam (the old man, 14!) Many times they reach through and play with his ears and he just sleeps on, lol!

This is their mild play. When they get wound up, it's like little bullets shooting up and down their kennel! Sometimes Cody will be in the corner and then Katy comes running full blast, jumps in the middle of their bed and it springboards her right into the middle of Cody! Then the play "fight" is on!
