Who Do You Put Your Faith In?

The saying, "Hindsight is 20/20" is most definitely true. No matter how young or old we may be, time seems to pass so quickly when looking back to our past lives. There was a trail we were on without knowing it at the time. The saying, "The older you get, the faster the time goes" is soooo true! All the more to have faith in our Almighty GOD Who knows everything!

 

Psalm 39:5, "Every man at his best state is a vapor " in time!

 

James 4:14, "What is your life? It is a vapor that appears for a little while then vanishes."

 

Job 4:20, "These bodies of ours are here today and gone tomorrow."

 

II Corinthians 4:18, "The things we see now are here today and gone tomorrow. But the things we can't see will last forever!" Do you know where you will spend Eternity? I pray for you that it is with our Almighty Savior GOD!

 

Our lives are but a speck in time.

 

Hebrews 13:14, "This earth is not our home. We have our eyes set on the City to come."

I Chronicles 29:15, "You know, O LORD, that we pass through life...like a passing shadow and we cannot escape death."

Psalm 39:12, "I am just a traveler passing through (this life) as my ancestors before me."

With all of these things in mind, how much more our faith in our LORD GOD should be. Faith is allowing our LORD Jesus Christ to work through us and not we ourselves.

John 14:6, Jesus said, "I Am the way, the truth, and the Life. No man comes to the Father but through Me!" Put your trust in Christ. You will not be alone in this life or more so when you pass through the door of death into His Life everlasting for you! 

 

GOD Will Increase Your Faith.

 

Faith increases when:
Job 5:9, Job 9:10, "He (GOD) performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted!"

Faith increases when:
II Corinthians 9:8, "In all things at all times having all that you need you will abound in every good work."

Faith increases when:
Ephesians 4:15, "In all things grow up into Him Who is the Head, that is Christ."

Faith increases by:
I John 2:27, "His anointing teaching you about all things."

Faith increases when:
John 14:26, "The Holy Spirit will teach you all things and He will remind you of everything He has said to you" through His WORD, the Bible.

Faith increases when:
Romans 8:28, Hindsight reveals, "All things work for the good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose."

Faith increases when:
Matthew 19:26, "Jesus said, 'With man this is impossible, but with GOD all things are possible.' "

Faith:
Acts 16:31, "Believe in the LORD Jesus and you will be saved - you and your household!" This belief is not just a head knowledge, but a heart knowledge!

No matter what happens in this life, remember:
Our life is in His Hands.

 

 



Faith in GOD's Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient Power

What an awesome GOD we have! He is All-powerful, everywhere at once, All-knowing!

 

 

*All-Powerful*

Scientist have found within the atom, a violent vibrating mesh that they have no theories for as to why the atom doesn't explode on its own! Hebrews 1:3, "He (GOD) uses His powerful WORD to hold all things together." It will be by His All-powerful word that He will release every atom in the universe. II Peter 3:12, "That Day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire and the elements will melt from the heat!" By GOD's WORD, every atom He now holds into place, He will let go! We know what one atom's explosion is in the atomic bomb. Can you just imagine every single atom in the universe?!

*Omnipresent-GOD is everywhere!*

Psalm 139:7-12, GOD is in the highest heavens, the lowest depths, His Light shines in the darkest realms! Matthew 28:20 tells His Elect that He is with us always! Even in death,  II Corinthians 5:8, "To be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD." The Holy Spirit is here, there, and everywhere!

 

*All-knowing*

I Chronicles 28:9, Psalm 9:11, Acts 15:8, all tell us that Almighty GOD knows all of our thoughts! Imagine, He knows all of the thoughts everyone has continually! He even knows all of the thoughts we will ever have! He also knows when each animal in the world dies! Matthew 10:29. It would seem everything in this world and its future is GOD's past! What an awesome GOD we serve!







What Faith Is Not.

Faith Is:

Psalm 40:4, faith is not honoring men of pride.

 

Psalm 52:7, faith is not placed in one's own goods, prosperity, or wealth.

 

Psalm 62:10, faith is not placed in receiving rewards for evil doing to gain wealth. 

 

Psalm 146:3, faith is not to be placed in rulers.

 

Isaiah 59:14, faith is not to be seen in the public place to be paraded for one's own benefit.

 

Jeremiah 29:31, faith is not placing your trust in false beliefs.

 

Micah 7:5, faith is not to be placed (100%) in a friend or faith in a relative. Our faith is placed in GOD alone Who leads our family/us and friends to assist and confide in one another.

 

Romans 1:16 & I Peter 2:16, faith is not ashamed of the Gospel.

 

Romans 2:28, faith is not circumcision of the flesh, but circumcision of the heart.

Romans 11:20, faith is not proud.

Romans 12:3, faith is not thinking more highly of yourself than others.

Romans 14:1, faith is not doubting.

Romans 14:22, faith is not self condemning.

I Corinthians 2:5, faith is not emotional "footwork."(To appear exalted before others.)

I Corinthians 15:14, 17, faith is in vain if one doesn't believe in Christ's resurrection.

II Corinthians 5:7 & Hebrews 11:1,7, faith is not by sight.

Galatians 2:16, faith is not justified by works.

Galatians 3:12, faith is not in the law, but in Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2:8, faith is not of our self, but of GOD's grace.

II Thessalonians 3:2, faith is not in all men.

I Timothy 1:5 & II Timothy 1:5, faith is not assumed.

I Timothy 5:8, faith is denied by anyone who does not provide for relatives.

Hebrews 11:27, faith is not fearing man.

James 2:17 & Galatians 2:16, faith is dead without works. Works doesn't bring about faith, but faith brings about works.

Revelation 2:13, faith is not denying Christ.

 

 

Who's In Control?

Faith is believing:
Colossians 1:16, "For by Him (GOD) all things were created; things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him."

Faith in the LORD realizes:
Proverbs 21:1, "The king's heart is like streams of water. Both are under the LORD's control. He turns them in any direction He chooses," as so with all mankind.

Faith in GOD:
Daniel 5:23, "GOD...determines whether you live or die and controls everything you do."

Faith in Jesus Christ:
James 1:3, "You know that the testing of your trust (in Christ) produces perseverance."

Since the fall occurred in the Garden of Eden (in Genesis), GOD has had a selected Elect. The Elect's perseverance in this world from evil and wicked people (who have chosen to reject Him) is in preparation for:

James 1:12, "Those who stand firm during testing are blessed. They will receive the Crown of Life He has promised to those who love Him."

GOD's Grace has given us the faith to:
Matthew 7:13, "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction and many enter through it." Almighty GOD is in control of all things! I am so humbled that my Creator has "chosen me before the foundation of the world." (John 17:24) Ask the LORD into your heart. Accept His salvation for your sins, and you will be one among the Elect He chose before creation!

GOD's Infinite Knowledge and Wisdom.

God's grace gives us the faith to seek out His infinite knowledge and wisdom. We will forever be learning of our Awesome GOD. He already knows everything about everything before there was anything.

Matthew 10:30, "Even the very hairs of your head are all numbered," not just mine but every human being from Adam and Eve to the last human He will create! This includes the genetic code of every person, animal, plant, and atom in the universe!

Hebrews 4:13, "Nothing in all of creation is hidden from GOD's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to Whom we must give account!" He knows all of everyone's thoughts, words, and deeds simultaneously. They are being recorded (Revelation 20:12.) 

Psalm 147:4, "He (GOD) determines the number of stars and calls each by name!"
