Good Works Doesn't Get You To Heaven

Isaiah 64:6, "All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags..."

Titus 3:5, "Not by works of righteousness (being "good") which we have done, but according to His Mercy He saved us."

The LORD's mercy is our salvation. He paid the price of taking past, present, and future mankind's sins upon Him. Those (who in their hearts believing and asking Christ to come into their heart) will live forever with our Awesome, Almighty, Creator, Savior, Holy Father GOD!

I Thank GOD for His Mercy in Answering Prayers

John 14:13, "Whatever you ask in My Name believing, you shall receive that the Father may be glorified in the Son."

I Thessalonians 5:17 tells us to, "...pray without ceasing."

Since the fracturing of my hip back in October, I have been so thankful for its complete healing! I had since been in prayer for the medical expenses to be paid and my policy has now done so! Many months of prayer not just from myself, but I recently had my Bible class ladies pray, my Sunday School class pray, and the Elders if my church! GOD is so merciful in hearing our prayers and He has His timing for His reasons. I can't help but smile, for the pay off has come just in time for my birthday! :-) Thank you, LORD, for a great birthday present!

Romans 12:12, Ephesians 6:18, and Colossians 4:2 "Be persistent in prayer and keep alert as you pray, giving thanks to GOD!"

Christ's Mercy

Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of GOD is eternal life in Christ Jesus our LORD!"

What mercy, that GOD would come in the flesh to take the sins of mankind upon His perfect body! All you need do is accept Jesus' free gift of salvation!

GOD's Mercy Abounds

GOD's mercy is present even when we are in times of trial. We are limited, He is limitless! We are finite, He is infinite! We know nothing compared with Him knowing everything...even before it happens! Turn your heartache over to our Awesome, Almighty, Creator, Savior, Holy Father GOD and see the light of His glory and not the darkness of a wicked world that will one day go out of existence. 

2 Peter 3:10, "The Day of the LORD will come like a thief (when no one expects) in which the heavens will pass away and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up." Just imagine, every atom in the earth and entire universe exploding at once! The scientists have found that each atom has a violent vibrating mesh and they don't know what keeps the atom from flying apart on its own! I know! GOD. One day He will speak His WORD and each atom in existence will let go! Then 2 Peter 3:10 will take place. Come to Jesus Christ and find a peace that goes beyond understanding. (Philippians 4:7) GOD's mercy abounds for you.

Mercy Works Both Ways

Mercy is greatly displayed by what Jesus Christ did for man on the cross to save mankind from sin. The thief on the cross ask for Christ to remember him and Christ told him, "Today you will be with Me in Paradise." (Luke 23:41-42)

The world can't understand why the worst person in the world can receive salvation in the last few minutes of life while a person who has been "good" all of their life will not receive salvation if they have not received Christ as their Savior.

Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD."

Because of His mercy to you, show mercy to others in assisting their needs. For when you do, you do it to Christ. (Matthew 25:37-40)

The Bread of Life

Man's mercy is shown in feeding the poor and hungry. This sustenance is temporary. But, Almighty GOD through Jesus Christ, Who is the Bread of Life, will last throughout eternity. 

Love Shows Mercy

Almighty GOD's mercy was shown to this world when He became a perfect Man and took upon Himself the sins of mankind! Now that is true Love!
