I pray you have a most Happy New Year for 2019!

Jesus promises us:

Are you ready for all the New things our Almighty GOD has for you? In the New Year, 2019, I pray all His blessings upon you!

Love Those Who Hate You

Jesus was born to die for mankind's sins so whoever accepts Him will have eternal life with Him.

Matthew 5:43-48, "You have heard it said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you...If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? If you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not the pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect."

Luke 6:27-36, "But I tell you: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If one strikes your cheek, turn to him the other also. If he takes your coat, give him your cloak also. Do to others as you would have them do to you...Then your reward will be great and you will be the sons of the Most High, because He is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father in heaven is merciful."

One Day all sin and this fallen universe will melt with fervent heat. Sin will be no more. We see this in II Peter 3:10-13:

"The Day of the LORD will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar, the elements will be destroyed by fire and the earth and everything in it will be burnt up. Since everything will be destroyed in this manner, what kind of people ought you to be! Live holy and godly lives. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire and the elements will melt with fervent heat! But in keeping with His promise we (His Chosen through salvation) are looking for a New Heaven and a New Earth, the home of the righteous." Are you counted with the saved? Accept Jesus Christ as your savior, then make a New Year's resolution to love your enemies, do good to them who hate you.

Angelic Hosts Sing Praises at Christ's Birth

Luke 2:13-14, "Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising GOD and saying, 'Glory to GOD  in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom His favor rests."

Does GOD's peace rest on you? It can! That's why He came to earth to redeem mankind of their sins. 

Angelic singing, wow! The words to the following song really gives the feeling of what that first Christmas must have been wlike.

The Shepherds Visit Jesus

Luke 2:8-20, "There were shepherds living out in the fields at night. An angel of the LORD appeared to them and the glory of the LORD shone all around them and they were so afraid.

"But the angel said to them, 'Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all people. Today in the City of David a Savior has been born to you, He is Christ the LORD. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.'

"Suddenly a great company of heavenly hosts appeared praising GOD and saying...

"Glory to GOD in the highest and on earth peace to men on whom His favor rests. The shepherds said to one another, 'Let us go and see.' They went to Bethlehem and found Mary, Joseph, and the baby lying in a manger."

The Wise Men from Afar See Christ's Star

Matthew 2:1-2, "Magi from the east came and asked, 'Where is the One Who has been born King of the Jews? We saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him.' "

The Magi traveled thousands of miles to see the King of the Jews. When they found Him, they responded with joy, worship, and gifts. (Commentary pg 1642)

They saw Jesus' star referred to in Numbers 24:17. They had traveled many miles.

Matthew 2:11, "They (the Wise Men) saw the Child with His mother and opened their treasures and presented Him with gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh."

Their response was so different than ours today. Man expects GOD to come looking for us to explain Himself, prove Who He is, and to give us gifts! But those who are truly wise will seek and worship Jesus not for what they can get, but for Who He is, GOD in the flesh come to save mankind from their sins. 

John 3:36, "Whoever believes in the Son (Jesus) has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son (Jesus) will not see life for GOD's wrath remains on them."

Be a "wise man (or woman)" and come to the salvation GOD has planned from before Creation (Ephesians 1:4-5) for those accepting Him! 

Christ Jesus is GOD in the Flesh

Jesus said, "I and the Father are One." (John 10:10)

Jesus said, "Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father." (John 14:9)

Jesus Creator GOD came to be mankind's payment for sin.

"The time came for the Baby to be born and Mary gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped Him in cloths and placed Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn." (Luke 2:6-7)

The animals witness the birth of Almighty GOD in the Flesh in a stable before any other of mankind saw Him. 

GOD the Father in Christ Jesus has experienced everything that is common to man, yet without sin. (Hebrew 4:15) 

GOD told Mary, "What is conceived in you is from the Holy Spirit." (Matthew 1:20)

Our Awesome, Almighty, Creator, Savior, Holy Father GOD is seen here in His personality of GOD the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and GOD the Holy Spirit. He is One in Three and Three in One!

Let Your Light Shine Before Men

Matthew 5:15-16, "A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on a stand and it gives light to everyone around. 

Do you have the Light of salvation? If so, does you life shine the light of Christ to all around you? If not, all you need do is repent of your sins to the Savior, Jesus, and He will save you and confirm to you with the entering of His Holy Spirit to lead, guide, and direct your light to shine to others, believers and non-believers! Know the joy of your salvation in our Awesome, Almighty, Creator, Savior, Holy Father GOD!
