The Meekness of Animals

The meek doesn't just include those of mankind that have salvation through being saved by grace.

Salvation is for man (because he is made in the image of GOD, Genesis 1) and does not apply to the animals. HOWEVER,  Romans 8:21-22 tells of GOD's whole creation being delivered, "Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of GOD!"

If you do not have Christ's salvation, today is the day to accept your salvation and know the wonders of His Creation being in eternity with us all forevermore! This is being Meek!

In The Palm Of His Hand

What Christ did for mankind will last for eternity. Have you accepted His salvation for you or have you accepted His damnation by rejecting so great a salvation?

Daily Bread, 01/27/15, "GOD bears the world's weight on His shoulder, yet holds His children in the palm of His hand."

What An Inheritance!

The New Earth is going to be so beyond our comprehension, that John could only describe it's building materials being that of what man on this fallen earth cheats, steals, and kills for!

Revelation 21:11, "having the glory of GOD, Her (New Jerusalem)  brilliance was like a very costly stone, as a stone of crystal-clear jasper.

Revelation 21:14, 19, "The City had 12 foundation stones.  (19) The 1st foundation stone, jasper, 2nd sapphire, 3rd chalcedony, 4th emerald, 5th sardonyx, 6th sardius, 7th chrysolite, 8th beryl, 9th topaz, 10th chrysoprase, 11th jacinth, 12th amethyst.

Revelation 21:21, "The 12 gates each a single pearl, and the street was pure gold!"

Yes, the Meek have very much to look forward to and even more than our now finite minds cannot comprehend!

Meekness Is Not Weakness

Revelation 21:1, "Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away."

The meek of today are trampled over by the wicked of this world. One Day there will be no more wicked for GOD will have passed His judgment upon them and they will be forever banished to the Lake of Fire. Those Christians who belong to Him will inherit His New Earth and never again experience evil, for:

Revelation 21:27, "Nothing impure (or evil) will enter, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life."

GOD Gives Peace During Mourning

Nothing on earth can be so bad that can compare to the greatness of Heaven.

Acts 7:55, the stoning to death of Stephen for his testimony for Christ, "Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up and saw the glory of GOD, and Jesus standing at the right hand of GOD."

My father had a same experience when he was on his deathbed. He no longer could see us, but heaven definitely opened to him! Angels were descending so quickly his head would sway from side to side as he counted, "Look out, here they come! One, two, three, look out!" When the glory of GOD appeared, his eyes (in the dim light of the room) sparkled the reflection of the glory he saw! He let out a joyful squeal and closed his eyes never to open them again! Though we were in mourning at my father's passing, the LORD surely blessed us with the assurance of my dad's home going to the LORD forever!

Blessed Means More Than Happiness

The Application Bible Commentary shares about the Beatitudes, The Beatitudes "tells how to be blessed. 'Blessed' means more than happiness. It implies the fortunate or enviable state of those who are in GOD's Kingdom. The Beatitudes don't promise a temporal laughter, pleasure, or earthly prosperity. To Jesus, blessed means the experience of hope and joy, independent of outward circumstances. Follow Jesus no matter what the cost."

I Corinthians 13:7, "Love bears up under anything and everything that comes..."

Romans 5:3-4, "We also glory in our sufferings because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance produces character and character produces hope" in Jesus Christ.

GOD Moments page 81, "Struggles are part of the process to grow stronger in faith." For faith brings us to trust in our Almighty Savior GOD!

Four Ways of Understanding the Beatitudes

The Life Application Study Bible commentary shares: "There are four ways of understanding the Beatitudes.

1. They are a code of ethics and a standard of conduct for all believers.
2. They contrast Kingdom values (what is eternal) with worldly values (what is temporary.)
3. They contrast the superficial "faith" like that of the Pharisees with the real faith Christ wants.
4. They show the Old Testament expectations will be fulfilled in the New Kingdom.

The Beatitudes must be taken as a whole, not pick and choose for one's self."

People who do not know Christ personally through His salvation can not understand what it means to be "poor in spirit" or to "mourn" in the real faith of Christ. For they have not the comfort of the Kingdom of GOD!

John 16:33, Jesus shared, "I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble (trials and tribulations.) But, take heart! I (Jesus) have overcome the world!" We can claim the peace of Christ in the most troublesome times. (Commentary) But for a little while, and Christians will be in all of His Glory!

Yes! And even our animals will reap His Glory! (That I will share later on this year!)

Jesus Wept

"Blessed are those who mourn"
Jesus knew what it meant to mourn. There are two places in the New Testament that share about Christ's mourning.

Luke 19:41-44, Jesus predicts Jerusalem's destruction. "As Jesus came into the city and observed it, He wept over it."

John 11:35, "Jesus wept." When Jesus was at Lazarus' tomb, "Jesus showed that He cares enough for us to weep with us in our sorrow*" as we mourn. * Commentary

In Genesis 7:7, man had become so wicked, it grieved Almighty GOD that He had created man. But, praise His Name, Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD and mankind continued.

Today's world has reached an even farther point of wickedness due to the billions of people who reject Jesus Christ and continue to live in their sin. Accept His salvation He has for you so that you may be comforted by our Almighty GOD to KNOW you will be forever with Him!

GOD's Comforting During Mourning

Matthew 5:4, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." What blessings the Christian has in our Almighty GOD!

Who is that Comforter? He is the Omniscient Person of the Holy Spirit.

John 16:7 Jesus teaches concerning His soon death, "Unless I go away, the Holy Spirit will not come to you, but if I go I will send Him to you."

If you are in mourning, turn your life over to Christ for His salvation and the Holy Spirit will comfort you as no created human can.

Trust In The Name Of The LORD

"Poor in Spirit"
Zephaniah 3:12, "I will leave within you the meek and humble (poor in spirit), who trust in the Name of the LORD."

To be "poor in spirit" is to be humbly close to our LORD Jesus. There is no better place to be in this fallen world! Allow Jesus to be your Savior and soon coming King!

Are You Humble In Spirit?

"Poor in Spirit"
Psalm 25:9, "He (GOD) guides the humble in what is right and teaches them His Way." The Poor in Spirit are led by GOD.

Psalm 69:32, "The poor (in spirit) will see and be glad - you who seek GOD, may your hearts live!"

Psalm 147:6, "The LORD sustains the humble (poor in spirit), but casts the wicked to the ground."

Psalm 149:4, "For the LORD takes delight in His people; He crowns the humble (poor in spirit) with salvation!"

You can become one of His people by simply trusting in His salvation for you. He paid the penalty for your sin upon the Cross. It is your choice to accept or reject His offer of life Eternal with Him in Heaven forever or in the Lake of Fire forever. It is your choice!

He Who Is Last Shall Be First

"Poor in Spirit"
Matthew 19:30, 20:16 and Mark 10:31 speaks of the "last being first and the first being last." Those Children of GOD who have suffered the trials and tribulations of this fallen world even unto death shall be first in the Kingdom of GOD! Their reward is great and it will not apply to those Children of GOD that have not suffered as they have.

Matthew 5:12, Luke 6:23 speaks of this great reward to those who have suffered as did the prophets of GOD.

This life is but the blink of an eye, a puff of smoke compared to Eternity. Where will you spend your Eternity; in an everlasting place of torment where the rules of this universe's laws of thermal dynamics does not apply (called the Lake of Fire) or in an Eternity with GOD where there is no more pain, hunger, thirst, or trials of a fallen world. No corruption is there nor can any enter. Christ made your way possible because He paid the penalty for your sins on the Cross. Accept Him today!

GOD's Work In You

"Poor in Spirit"
Job 22:29, "When men are brought low and You say, 'Lift them up' then He will save the downcast." The parallel version says, "For GOD makes low those whose hearts are lifted up, He is the Savior to the poor in spirit."

There are some people whose haughty, wayward spirit has to be brought down for their heart to see GOD Almighty's salvation for them. Then there are those like Job whom GOD chose knowing he would not turn against Him no matter what! Job lost everything; wealth, possessions, family, friends, health yet he refused to curse GOD! Read on and see what happened! GOD blessed Job in this life with more than he ever had before, not to mention the rewards awaiting him in Heaven!  Satan was put to the test and LOST!

What is it that may have you low in spirit? Turn it over to our Awesome, Almighty, Creator, Savior, Holy, Father GOD and see the greatness of His salvation for you. Your eyes will be opened to what He has for you now, and for Eternity with Him forevermore!

Beatitude - Blessed Are The Poor In Spirit

The Beatitudes are apart of Christ's Sermon on the Mount.

Matthew 5:3, "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for their's is the Kingdom of Heaven."

Commentary for Matthew 5:3, "Jesus began His sermon with the words that seem to contradict  each other. But, GOD's way of living usually contradicts the world's. If you want to live for GOD you must be ready to say and do what seems  strange to the world. You must be willing to give when others take, to love when others hate, to help when others abuse. By giving up your own rights in order to serve others, you will one day receive everything GOD has in store for you."

I feel those who have the Spirit of GOD (Holy Spirit) in them (because they are believers in Jesus' salvation for them) are not poor in their Spirit, but poor due to the unbelieving world taking from them. It is or can be a burden in this life when Christians are discriminated against (even unto death) because a dying world of mankind chooses to reject Christ's Eternal Saving Grace for them. They are blinded and cannot or will not see the truth. The glory that awaits GOD's Children is beyond any earthly imagination!

"Blessed are the poor (but in the Spirit of GOD) for their's is the Kingdom of Heaven." Matthew 5:3 Those not having His Spirit whether poor or rich will never have the Kingdom of GOD. Take Christ as your Savior today and be apart of His Glorious Kingdom forevermore!

This Year's Look at The Sermon on the Mount.

Luke 6:17-26 also shares Jesus' important teachings.

"These teachings took more than one day as Christ proclaimed His attitude toward the law. Position, authority, and money are not important in His Kingdom - what matters is faithful obedience from the heart. The Sermon on the Mount  challenged the proud and legalistic religious leaders of the day." Matthew 5:1 commentary.

"Before speaking to the crowds, Jesus pulled His disciples aside and warned them about the temptations they would face as His disciples." Matthew 5:1,2 commentary.
