Famous Horses

Do you know whose horse this is? This is Randolph Scott's horse named Stardust! He was in many of Scott's cowboy movies
.

Roy Roger's horse, Trigger was a really intelligent horse in the many things he could do! He many times came to the rescue of Roy!

Dale Evan's horse, Buttermilk was a very loving horse as you can see!

The Lone Ranger's (Texas Ranger) horse, Silver was another famous horse. Hi Ho, Silver, Away!

The LORD has surely created many beautiful horses! The most beautiful of all will be the horses all the Chosen of GOD will come upon when we return with Christ!

Revelation 19:14, "The armies of heaven were following Him (Jesus), riding on white horses and dressed in white linen!"

Do You Hunger and Thirst?

Matthew 5:6 (Above)
Who are the righteous?

Christ has made us righteous in forgiving us of our sins. Have you accepted Him for bearing your sins on the Cross?

Commentary, " 'Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness' means to turn to GOD first for help, to fill your thoughts with His desires, to take His character for your pattern, and to serve and obey Him in everything. Choose to give Him first place in every area of your life."

What will be added to you? Matthew 6:28-32 tells of the faith you should have in Almighty GOD to supply all your needs and not to worry about: 1. What you should wear 2. What you should eat or drink. Verse 32 tells us, "The Father knows what you need" and seeking Him first these things will be given to you.

On Wings As Eagles

Isaiah 40:31, "Those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength and soar on wings like eagles...they will not grow weary or faint."

Commentary: "Hope in the LORD is expecting His promise of strength above life's problems. It means trusting in Him for all things!"

Proverbs 30:19, "Things too amazing to understand (include) the way of an eagle in the sky!"

Job 39:27, "Does the eagle soar at your command and build his nest on high?"

Commentary: "GOD asked Job several questions about the animal kingdom in order to demonstrate how limited Job's knowledge really was. GOD was getting Job to realize, recognize, and submit to GOD's power and sovereignty over everything.

Have you submitted to the LORD and received His salvation? The more you grow in the LORD the more He reveals His Awesome, Almighty power in your life.

Just as parent eagles care for their eaglets in the preparing of the nest, feeding them and training them; GOD cares for you much more in the training that comes from His Holy Spirit in us who have come to accept His free gift of salvation in Jesus Christ's sacrifice for our sins. Read His WORD, listen for His Spirit and receive His training for your life!

Meek Doesn't Mean Weak

Matthew 5:5, "Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth."

Commentary, "By giving up your own rights in order to serve others, you will one day receive everything GOD has in store for you. 'Blessed means the experience of hope and joy independent of outward circumstances.' " As the song sung in many churches says, "My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus blood and righteousness."

Psalm 37:11 promises, "The meek will inherit the land and enjoy great peace."

Commentary further explains this verse, "Meekness hardly seems the proper weapon to deal with enemies. GOD's warfare must be carried out with calm faith and humility before GOD, and hope in His deliverance. Jesus also promises a sure reward for those with humble attitudes."

Jesus tells us to "Love you enemies..." (Matthew 5:43)

Our inheritance in the New Heaven, New  earth, and New Jerusalem is awaiting all those who have salvation in Jesus Christ. There, He will wipe away all tears. There will be no evil or defilement that enters the perfection of our Awesome, Almighty, Creator, Savior, Holy Father GOD. We will have new bodies that will forevermore be with Him throughout all eternity that has no end!!!! Hallelujah to His Holy Name!

Wings of Shelter

Isaiah 34:15, "The owl will nest there, lay eggs, she will hatch them, and care for her young under the shadow of her wings."

Psalm 17:8, "...hide me in the shadow of Your wings." GOD protects His own!

Psalm 61:4 shares, "I long to take refuge in the shelter of Your wings." Trusting the LORD GOD will bring His protection. Have you trusted Jesus for your salvation?

John 14:6, Jesus said, "I Am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through Me." Are you sheltered under the wings of our Awesome, Almighty, Creator, Savior, Holy Father GOD? You can be. Believe in Jesus Who died for your sins and your protection begins!

Mourning Will Be Turned To Joy

The second Beatitude found in Matthew 5:4 teaches us of comfort. There are several sayings that I have heard. "Joy comes in the morning."
"Tomorrow is another day." The Bible teaches:

In Christ Jesus, His Word teaches us in 1st Corinthians 10:13, "He (Christ) will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. When you are, He will provide a way out so you can endure it."

Mourning just doesn't have to do with yourself, but it is to be shared. When others mourn, we are to share with them to uphold them before the LORD and others to comfort them as Christ comforts us. It always is a comfort to have loved ones comfort us when we are sad and hurting from life's sorrows.   AND...

Joy does return, especially when you know Jesus Christ as your Savior. He is present with you through the Holy Spirit who comforts.

Acts 1:8, "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you."

GOD's joy in us far out weighs any sorrow this life can bring. We know in our hearts He has an eternal existence for us with Him that our minds now cannot comprehend! No more sorrow, pain, mourning.

Revelation 21:4, "He (Christ) will wipe away every tear from our eyes. There will be no more death or MOURNING or crying or pain for the old order of things has passed away!"

As the Cock Crows

Matthew 26:34, Mark 14:30, John 13:38, "Jesus said, 'This very night before the rooster crows twice, you will deny me three times.' "

Fear of the unknown has many repercussions. But, there are healthy fears as well as unhealthy fears. Unhealthy fears can bring many problems whether it is mental or physical. These kinds of fear involve deep rooted worries and concerns as well as anger beyond control not to mention complete withdrawal from everything.

Fear can also be healthy in that it protects us by making us stop and think before we do something that can be detrimental. The Bible speaks of a healthy fear which brings blessings:

"Fear the LORD...
Deuteronomy 6:2, Proverbs 10:27...serve Him only so you may enjoy long life."
Psalm 25:12...He will instruct the way you should choose."
Psalm 34:9...You will lack nothing."
Psalm 111:10...is the beginning of wisdom."
Proverbs 1:7...is the beginning of knowledge."
Proverbs 8:13...is to hate evil."
Proverbs 15:16...is better than wealth with turmoil."

We also should have a healthy fear of the LORD because of His Glorified Purity. It is He that has made us and not we ourselves. Psalm 139:14, "I am fearfully and wonderfully made."

Psalm 91:4-6, "He (GOD) will cover you with His feathers and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not fear terrors of the night nor danger by the day."

Matthew 23:37, Luke 13:34; Jesus shares, "How I often longed to gather your children together as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing."

Anytime danger approaches a hen's chicks, she calls out and they scurry under her wings.

Acts 2:21, "Everyone who calls on the Name of the LORD will be saved. "   Are you?

The Poor in Spirit

Matthew 5:2-3, "Jesus began to teach them saying, 'Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.' "

Bible's commentary, "GOD's way of living usually contradicts the world's way of living. If you want to live for GOD you must be ready to say and do what seems strange to the world. You must be willing to give when the world takes; to love when the world hates; to help when the world abuses. By serving others you will one day receive everything GOD has in store for you. The Beatitudes contrasts kingdom (eternal) values with worldly (temporary) values. 'Blessed' means more than happiness. It implies the enviable state of those who are in GOD's kingdom. The Beatitudes don't promise laughter, pleasure, or earthly prosperity, but it does enhance the joy and hope  in Christ Jesus that is independent of outward circumstances."

Matthew Henry's Commentary further explains, "Jesus corrects the fundamental error of happiness as having all the riches of this world. He gives a new notion of blessing which is quite paradoxical to the world's. His is the doctrine of eternal truth and certainty. He removes the discouragement  of the weak and poor who receive the gospel by assuring them of the eminent gifts, graces, comforts, and usefulness that even the 'least in the kingdom of heaven' whose heart is upright with GOD is happy in the honors and privileges of Heaven's kingdom."

So, rejoice, for this world's existence is but the blink of an eye compared to the eternity with Christ that awaits all those who have come to Him for their salvation in forgiveness of their sins. Have you asked Christ to forgive you? He will. You then will begin to be led of His Holy Spirit in these riches of His kingdom!

God's Variety of Animals That Move Along The Ground

Leviticus is a book that shares about the things that GOD allowed His people to eat. It also mentions the animals that were unclean and they should not eat of these.

Leviticus 11:30 mentions these as unclean to eat: "The Chameleon (above picture)...

"...the monitor lizard...

"...the lizard...

"...the skink...

"...the gecko"

Most of these are small reptiles excluding the monitor lizard which is quite large.

GOD's provisions for man is so abundant that we have so much to be thankful for. But, most of all is our thankfulness for His redemption of us from our sins through Jesus Christ taking all our sin upon Himself to reconcile us to our Awesome, Almighty, Creator, Savior, Holy Father GOD!
