Is it a Turkey or is it a Vulture!

Thanks to Bonnie to give me my idea for this blog!
Question: Do turkeys strut or waddle?

To wattle or not to wattle,

that is the answer!

Question: Do Turkey Vultures strut,
waddle, or hop?

"I don't know what vultures do,
but I strut when my wattle is blue!"

Question: Who has the most feathers where?

*

Let's see, as turkeys strut,

they display the most feathers to be

on their butt.

*

When vultures fly,

they display their feathers to

be wide as the sky.
+
So, do vultures strut? No, they hop or
waddle. Do vultures have wattles?
No, they have red, bald heads so
the carrion they eat won't
bring about bacteria to collect
if they had feathers on their
head. Vultures also have
hoods that slide over
their heads so on cold
nights, they can keep their
bald heads warm.
+
How do you know if a turkey
likes you?

His wattle is blue!

*
Red is displayed as a warning
to others;

"beware least you see me in

an angry flutter!"

+
"Beware?" I wonder if that's
why a vulture's head is red?
*
With a wing span of 6 feet,
I wouldn't want either of
us to meet!
