Matthew 27:51-53, 28:2-15; "The earth quaked and the rocks split. The tombs broke open and the bodies of many holy people WHO HAD DIED were raised to life. They came out of the tombs and after Jesus' Resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many people.
"There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the LORD came down from heaven, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat upon it.
"His appearance was like lightening and his clothes were as white as snow. The guards were so afraid they were like dead men. The angel said, 'Do not be afraid, for I know you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; He is risen, just as He said. Come see the place where He lay.
"Suddenly Jesus met the women. 'Greetings' He said to them and they fell at His feet and worshiped Him. 'Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers I will see them at Galilee.'
"When the guards at the tomb went into the city to report to the chief priests, the chief priests devised a plan and gave the soldiers a large sum of money telling them, ' Say His disciples came during the night and stole Him away while you were asleep. This report to the governor will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.' So they took the money and did as they were instructed. This story has been widely circulated among the Jews to this very day."
Jesus said, "I Am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me will live even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in Me will never die! DO YOU BELIEVE THIS?" (John 11:25-26)
If you do, you have eternal life with Christ Jesus. Death from this fallen life only leads to eternal life with our Awesome, Almighty, Creator, Savior, Holy Father GOD forevermore! Hallelujah to His Holy Name!!!
