The Truth Hurts

How do people react to the truth?

It depends on their point of view (whether it's right or wrong.)

They can accept it or they can reject it.

What things come into play when accepting or rejecting the truth?

Emotions, opinions, facts; you notice I listed facts as last.

That's due to sinful man wanting to rely on his emotions and opinions when he has no facts

to base the emotions and opinions on, or right out denial because he does not

want to believe the truth.

I'm so glad the LORD's Truth will come out. When it

does they will be without excuse and before Him they will admit the Truth.

It surely is a joy to be on the LORD's side! As the saying goes, "The whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help you GOD." Some would like to pick bits and pieces of the truth, but then that is only a half truth, which ultimately is a "white" lie. When you pick parts that would enhance yourself, yet leave out that which is not so enhancing, it is sin. Our pastor today shared, "It's easy to Praise the LORD when it benefits you, however many would like to deny or overlook that which doesn't." I'm so uplifted that our GOD has forgivieness for those who accept His Whole Truth!

Hi Susan

Society seems to thing that it is okay not to be truthful. I am so happy that I know that and that is one of the things that I encourage other people to do, follow the Lord not society.

Hope you are well. I have been so busy and got behind on my blogging. We had a great weekedn camping and I can't wait to share all our funnt stories.

The weather here has been in the 70's so it is pleasant. It gets down to the 50's at night and that is good sleeping weather.

Hope all is well!

Blessings & Love
