Jesus Washes His Disciples Feet

John 13:1-20, "It was just before Passover. Jesus knew that the time had come for Him to leave this world and go to the Father. He now showed them the full extent of His Love. The evening meal was being served and the devil had already prompted Judas Iscariot to betray Jesus. Knowing He had come from GOD and would be returning to GOD, He got up, took off His outer garment, wrapped a towel around His waist, and poured some water in a basin. He began to wash His disciples feet, drying them with the towel. He came to Peter who said to Him, 'LORD, are you going to wash my feet?' Jesus answered, 'You do not now realize what I Am doing, but later you will understand.'  Peter said, 'You shall never wash my feet!'  Jesus answered, 'Unless I wash you, you have no part with Me.' Peter replied, 'LORD, then not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!' Jesus answered, 'A person who has had a bath only needs his feet washed. You are clean though not every one of you.' For He knew who was going to betray Him. After washing their feet, He returned to His place (at the table.) Jesus said, 'I have set you an example that you should do as I have done to you. I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor a messenger greater than the one who sent him. I know those I have chosen. This was to fulfill the prophecy, 'He who shares My bread has lifted up his heel against Me.' I'm telling you now before it happens so that when it does happen you will believe. (He was speaking of the Crucifixion.) I tell you whoever accepts anyone I send accepts Me; and whoever accepts Me accepts the One Who sent Me."

Salvation for the last two millennium has been brought to people's awareness by the spreading of GOD's message, His Word, the Holy Scriptures. Anyone accepting Jesus' penalty on the Cross for his/her sins will be saved. "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12) Have you come to your salvation which is only found in Jesus Christ? It's so simple a child can understand it.
"All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of GOD." (Romans 3:23) You must confess your sin to GOD. Ask for His forgiveness and He will forgive you. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from ALL unrighteousness." (I John 1:9) The Holy Spirit will reconcile you with GOD and you will know His presence in you! Jesus said, 'The Holy Spirit will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said...' (John 14:26) You want to know Almighty GOD personally? Confess your sin to Him and He will verify Himself through His Holy Spirit to you! Millions of Christians can testify to this!
