Judging and Discerning

Proverbs 3:21, "My son, preserve sound judgment and discernment, do not let them out of your sight." What is the difference between judgment and discernment? Discernment (or discretion) is the ability GOD gives to many people to think and make correct choices. Sound judgment, however, He gives only to those who follow Him. Sound judgment includes discernment, but goes beyond it. It also includes the knowledge that comes from instruction, training, and discipline, and the insight that results from knowing and applying GOD's truths. (Commentary)

Romans 3:23, "All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of GOD." We all one Day will stand before GOD's judgment. The lost (who have not accepted Christ's free gift of salvation) to eternal separation from Almighty GOD in torment and punishment (Matthew 25:41) also known as The Great White Throne Judgment (Revelation 20:11); the Saved unto eternal life with Almighty GOD and The Judgment Seat of Christ where rewards will be given or taken away. (II Corinthians 5:10)

I pray you choose Christ Jesus and His eternity for you. Billions times trillions to the quadrillionth power of millennium years and it will only be a second in our now time! Never Ending!

Worry and Anxiety Verses Faith and Trust

Matthew 6:25-27, 33-34, Jesus shared, "I tell you DO NOT WORRY about your life, what you will eat, drink, wear, or about your body (health). The birds neither sow, reap, or store away yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Seek first His (Jesus) kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.  Therefore, DO NOT WORRY about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the LORD with all of your heart and lean not to your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight."

I have learned much about this in the past year. Praise the LORD, He is always with me, guiding and directing my path on this journey leading to His eternal kingdom!

Riches

Matthew 6:19-21, 24 "Do not store up for yourself treasures on earth where moth and rust destroy, where thieves break in and steal. For where your treasure is there your heart will be also. You cannot serve both GOD and treasures."

Everything man steals and kills for in this world is all building materials in heaven, yet it is in a more perfect form. On earth man steals and kills for gold, yet in heaven gold is the building materials for the City! (Revelation 21:18) Man on earth steals and kills for precious gems and stones, yet in heaven these are the foundations of buildings! Single pearls are gates! (Revelation 21:19-21)  Can you imagine on this earth a man stealing asphalt, building foundations, gates!!!

This world is temporal and you can't take anything with you. Why would you want to when what is awaiting is so much more superior beyond imagination!

Fasting and Prayer

Matthew 6:17, "When you fast...be not obvious to men that you are fasting, but only to your Father Who is unseen; and your Father Who sees what is done in secret, will reward you."

The Father wants to spend personal time with each of His children. Jesus has made this possible through His salvation for you. Take time to spend personal time with Him. Prayer is not just a "one way street."

Forgiveness Is An Absolute!

Matthew 6:14-15, "For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins (against you), your heavenly Father will not forgive your sins."

Luke 23:34, As Christ was being nailed to the cross He said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing."

Acts 7:60, At his stoning to death, Stephen cried out, "LORD, do not hold this sin against them." In the above words of Christ, "Father, forgive them."

To forgive such extreme sin, should make us realize forgiving others and asking others for forgiveness of sin to not have pride keep us from doing so.

Trials and Testings

Matthew 6:13, "And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one."

Commentary shares, "GOD doesn't lead us in temptation (as man would think), but sometimes allows us to be be tested by them. Pray to be delivered from these trying times and deliverance from Satan (the evil one) and his deceit. All Christians struggle with temptation. Sometimes it is so subtle that we don't even realize what is happening. GOD has promised that He won't allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear. (1 Corinthians 10:13) Ask GOD to help you recognize temptation and to give you strength to overcome it and choose GOD's way instead."

Forgiveness

Matthew 6:12, "Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us."

Billions of trillions to the quadrillionth power of sins Christ took upon Himself for all of mankind's sins from beginning to end!  Yet, the only ones forgiven will be those who truly from their heart asked Him to forgive them of their sin. (Mark 16:16)

Do you know how GOD has forgiven you? You now can forgive others. If you can't forgive others, you have not accepted in your heart, Christ's forgiveness of your own sin.

Matthew 6:15, "But if you don't forgive men their sins, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your sin."

Forgiveness works both ways. Just as the Father remembers your sin no more (Micah 7:19), so we should remember no more the sin of others upon us.
