Spiritual Harvest

John 4:34-38, "My food," Jesus said, "is to do the will of Him Who sent Me and to finish His work. Do you not say, 'Four months more and then the harvest? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. Even now the reaper draws his wages, even now he harvests the crops for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together." Jesus makes it clear that all around us a continual harvest of souls awaits to be reaped for the Kingdom of GOD. People are waiting to hear GOD's WORD. The wages of joy is seeing new believers coming into the eternal Kingdom of GOD! If you don't know Christ Jesus as your personal Savior, come to Him now seeking His forgiveness of your sins! Another harvest is soon coming, The Rapture! I pray you will be part of Christ's coming for His Church for the wedding feast of the Bridegroom (Jesus) and the Bride (His Church)

GOD Is All-Knowing

John 4:16-26 Jesus is still speaking with the Samaritan woman at the well. "He (Jesus) told her, 'Go call your husband and come back.' She shared with Him, 'I have no husband.' Jesus told her, 'You are right, you have had five husbands and the man you now have is not your husband... The time has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth...and His worshipers must worship Him in spirit and in truth.' The woman said, 'I know the Messiah is coming and He will explain everything to us.' Jesus declared, 'I Who speak to you am He!' 

GOD knows all about you, even things you don't know about yourself! There will come a time of His judgment for each person. What they think was hidden by the dark of night or in secret will be brought to His Light and opened to all who witness His judgment! Those who have asked for Jesus Christ's forgiveness in this life will have all their sin erased and remembered no more. Will you stand before His Great White Throne Judgment for ever lasting punishment in the Lake of Fire, or will you stand before His Judgment Seat for your reward in Heaven? He leaves it up to your choice to reject or accept His free gift of eternal life with Him forevermore, or his punishment for eternal damnation forevermore! 

Is Your Soul Hungry and Thirsty?

John 4:11-14 continues Jesus conversation with the Samaritan woman at the well. Jesus explains to her about the well's water in John 4: 13-14, "Everyone who drinks this water (the well's water) will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." 

Commentary: "Many spiritual functions parallel physical functions. As our bodies hunger and thirst, so do our souls. But our souls need spiritual food and water. The woman confused the two kinds of water, perhaps because no one had ever talked with her about her spiritual hunger and thirst before. We would not think of starving our bodies of food and  water when they hunger or thirst.Why then should we deprive our souls? The Living Word, Jesus Christ, and the written Word, the Bible, can satisfy our hungry and thirsty souls."   Allow the Holy Spirit to lead you to Jesus Christ your Savior and find the Love of our Father GOD for you!

Proverbs 3:5-6, "TRUST in the LORD with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. Acknowledge HIM in all you do and He will make your pathway straight!"

Living Water

John 4:1-10 Jesus Talks to a Woman at the Well

John 4:9, "The Samaritan women said to Him (Jesus), 'You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?' (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.)" Praise the LORD, He doesn't put up the barriers of discrimination as does mankind!

John 4:10, "Jesus answered her, 'If you knew the gift of GOD and Who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have ask Him and He would have given you living water.' " You may ask, "What is living water?" "In the Old Testament, many verses speak of thirsting after GOD as one thirsts for water (Psalm 42:1, Isaiah 55:1, Jeremiah 2:13, Zechariah 13:1) GOD is called the fountain of life (Psalm 36:9), the spring of living water (Jeremiah 17:13). In saying that He would bring living water that could forever quench a person's thirst for GOD, Jesus was proclaiming to be the Messiah. Only the Messiah could give this gift that satisfies the soul's desire. (Bible Commentary)" Jesus' gift of this salvation is not only for the Jews (who as a nation, rejected His gift), but it is also for the Gentiles, Praise  GOD!  

Acts 13:46-47, "We had to speak the Word of GOD to you (Jews) first. Since you (the Jews) reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles. For this is what the LORD has commanded us, 'I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.' "

Salvation for eternity with our Awesome, Almighty, Creator, Savior, Holy Father GOD has come to the entire world, only through Jesus Christ! He was not just despised, beaten, and crucified! But, He took upon Himself as He hung on the Cross, billions times trillions to the quadrillions of power of sins upon Himself for all of mankind from Adam and Eve to the last human being He will create! All you need do is accept His free gift of salvation by asking Him to forgive you of all of your sins. The Holy Spirit will come into you and you will belong to Almighty GOD forevermore. Your heart will change and you will change from doing things that you know is sin. You will never want to do them again! Hallelujah to His Holy Name! The Holy Spirit will place the excitement of knowing Him within you and as the following verse says, "No eye has seen, no ear heard, no mind has conceived what GOD has prepared for those who love Him!" (I Corinthians 2:9) 

He Must Become Greater, I Must Become Less

John 3:30 is the Title of today's blog. We are to beware of those who put more emphasis on their own achievements than on GOD's kingdom.

John 3:31, "The One Who comes from above (Jesus) is above all, the one from the earth (mankind) belongs to the earth, and speaks of the earth. The One Who comes from heaven is above all." Praise Jesus, because of His salvation for us we one day will be made apart of His heaven for eternity!

John 3:32-33, "He (Jesus) testifies to what He has seen and heard, but no one accepts His testimony. The man who has accepted it has certified that GOD is truthful." The Holy Spirit of GOD in His believers testifies this to our souls!

John 3:34, "For the one whom GOD has sent speaks the words of GOD, for GOD gives the Spirit without limit." If you have accepted Jesus as your LORD and Savior, you know the Holy Spirit testifies this to you!

John 3:35-36, "The Father Loves the Son and has placed everything in His hands. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for GOD's wrath remains on him." You are going to exist forever; either in heaven with our Awesome, Almighty, Creator, Savior, Holy Father GOD or separated from Him in a place of eternal torment in payment for your sins. Jesus has paid the price for your sins, but you can only receive the "paid in full" by accepting His gift of salvation for your sins.

The Bridegroom Says Come

John 3:27-29, "John replied (to Jesus), 'A man can only receive what is given him from heaven. You yourselves (John's disciples vs. 25) can testify that I said I am not the Christ but am sent ahead of Him. The bride (the Church) belongs to the Bridegroom (Jesus Christ). The friend who attends the Bridegroom waits and listens for Him, and is full of joy when the Bridegroom's voice is heard. That joy is mine, and is now complete.' " All who have accepted Jesus Christ as their LORD and Savior is apart of the Church, the bride of Christ. One Day soon, the Rapture will occur and the bride of Christ will rise to meet Him in the air for the wedding feast of the Church and Christ and to forevermore be with our LORD!

Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

John 3:17, "For GOD did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him." Christ paid the penalty for man's sin upon the Cross. Each individual person must accept His gift of salvation in order to receive eternal life. Verse 18, "Whoever believes in Him (Jesus) is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the Name of GOD's One and only Son." People often try to "protect" themselves from their fears by putting their faith in things they do or good deeds, their intelligence, money or possessions. (But the Bible tells us that "all our works are as filthy rags before a Holy GOD," Isaiah 64:6) Only GOD can save us from the one thing feared the most, eternal damnation! Verse 19, "This is the verdict: Light (Jesus) has come into the world, but men love darkness (sin) instead of Light because their deeds are evil." People don't want their lives exposed because they're afraid of being revealed of their evil ways. Things they do in secret or the cover of the dark of night will be brought to the light, whether in this life or at the Great White Throne Judgment of Almighty GOD. It will then be too late for you to change your heart and accept Jesus as Savior. Verse 20, "Everyone who does evil hates the Light, and will not come into the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed." These people don't want to change. They even feel threatened by those whose desire is to obey GOD because it exposes their own heart's evil desires to themselves! Verse 21, "But whoever lives by the truth (of salvation in Christ Jesus) comes into the Light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through GOD." Open your heart to the Holy Spirit to reveal the Truth of Jesus Christ's salvation for you. This is personal and no one else can do it for you. Accept His free gift of salvation and watch what He does for you in this fallen world that soon will come to His mighty destruction before the New Heavens, New Earth, and New Jerusalem is brought to His People, Israel and His Church in Jesus Christ! What glory awaits for GOD's saved! (Revelation 21:1-4)
