Psalm 23:6, "Surely goodness and mercy (loving kindness) will follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever."
Treating others as we would have them treat us takes much "flexibility" especially with those who are harsh with us. From the movie, Buck; "Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not get bent out of shape!"
Learn to make your kindness to be like that of Christ's. For in doing so it will bring about one of two things in those who don't have kindness. 1. It will open their heart to Jesus Christ and a path way of witness to bringing our LORD's salvation to them or; 2. "It will heaps coals of fire upon their heads" (Proverbs 25:22, Romans 12:20.) for hardening their hearts to the truth of our Awesome, Almighty, Creator, Savior, Holy Father GOD. Let your heart not be hardened. Believe in your heart what Jesus has done for you and the Holy Spirit will open up to you His eternity!
