Poet Ella Wheeler Wilcox
11/5/1850-10/30/1919
Two of her famous sayings: 1. "Laugh and the world laughs with you; weep, and you you weep alone."
2. "One ship sails east and another west with the self-same winds that blow. 'Tis the set of the sails and not the gale which determines the way they go."
Discard the negative. Set your heart on GOD's desires: salvation,
GOD's promises,
GOD's provisions,
GOD's eternal life,
GOD's promises are true! What are those promises:
1. Salvation-Roman's 10:9, "If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is LORD,' and believe in your heart that GOD raised Him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED!"
2. His forever presence-Hebrews 13:5, "GOD has said, 'Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you.' "
3. His Provisions-Philippians 4:19, "My GOD will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus."
4. Eternity-John 3:16, "Whosoever believes in Him (Jesus) shall not perish but have everlasting life."
Are you joying in the LORD GOD Almighty!!!
