Jesus Teaches in the Temple

John 7:10-31, "After His brothers left the feast, He also left. The Jews asked, 'Where is the man?' There was widespread whispering in the crowds, saying, 'He is a good man.' Others said, 'No, he deceives the people.' But no one would say it publicly for fear of the Jews. Jesus went up to the temple courts and began to teach. Jesus said, 'My teaching is not My own. It comes from Him Who sent Me. If anyone chooses to do GOD's will, he will find out whether My teaching comes from GOD or whether I speak on My own. He who speaks on his own does so to gain honor for himself, but he who works for the honor of the One Who sent Him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about Him. Has not Moses given you the law? Yet, not one of you keeps the law. Why are you trying to kill Me?' 'You are demon possessed,' the crowd called out. 'Who is trying to kill you?' Jesus answered out, 'I did one miracle and you all are astonished, yet because Moses gave you circumcision, you circumcise a child on the Sabbath, why are you angry with Me for healing on the Sabbath? STOP judging by mere appearances and make a right judgment!' 'We know where this man is from, when the Christ comes, no one will know where He is from.' Jesus still teaching in the temple said, 'Yes, you know Me and you know where I am from. I am not here on My own, but He Who sent Me is true. You do not know Him because I am from Him and He sent Me.' They tried to seize Him, but no one laid a hand on Him. Still many in the crowd put their faith in Him. They said, 'When the Christ comes, will He do more miraculous signs than this Man?' "

There is none so blind than he who refuses to see! The miracles Jesus Christ performed were numerous: feeding thousands with two fish and five loaves of bread, walking on the water, calming the storm, healing the blind, healing the deaf, healing those with seizures, raising the dead, casting out demons...the list goes on. Yet, these refuse to  accept the truth! My prayer is for those who do not know the salvation of Jesus Christ will realize what He did upon the Cross by taking away your sin, but you must humble yourself, realize you were born in sin and cannot save yourself. It is a gift from GOD and you receive it by faith. When you do, the Holy Spirit comes into you and confirms your salvation! Come to Jesus today and you will reap the joy of our Awesome, Almighty, Creator, Savior, Holy Father GOD! 

Jesus' Brothers Ridicule Him

      James, Jesus' Brother

John 7:1-9, "Jesus went around in Galilee purposely staying away from Judea because the Jews were there waiting to take His life. When the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles was near, Jesus' brothers said to Him, 'You ought to leave here and go to Judea so that Your disciples may see the miracles You do. No one who wants to become a public figure acts in secret. Since You are doing these things, show Yourself to the world.' For even His own brothers did not believe in Him. Therefore, Jesus told them, 'The right time for Me has not yet come, for you anytime is right. The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify that what it does is evil. You go to the feast, I am not yet going upto this Feast, because for Me the right time has not yet come.' Having said this He stayed in Galilee."

Commentary:

"Jesus' brothers had a difficult time believing Jesus. After He died and rose from the dead, seeing Him, they believed. We today have every reason to believe because we have the full record of Jesus' miracles, death, and resurrection. We also have the evidence of what the gospel has done in people's lives through the centuries." We also have the Holy Spirit in us Who was promised to us upon salvation in Jesus Christ. He is the greatest witness of all. You too can personally know Jesus! He offers salvation as a free gift. All you need do is recognize you are a sinner, repent to Jesus of your sin and ask Him to come into your heart... And He will! 

Proverbs 3:4-5 explains this best, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all you do and He will guide your paths."

Romans 10:9 "If you confess with your mouth Jesus is LORD and believe in your heart that GOD raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."  

Desertion

John 6:61-71 "Aware that many of His disciples (followers) were grumbling...Jesus said to them,

"Does this offend you? What if you see the Son of Man ascend to where He was before? (Jesus in heaven before He came to earth as a Man) The Spirit gives life, the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life. Yet there are some of you who do not believe." For Jesus knew from the beginning which of them did not believe and who would betray Him. He went on to say, "This is why I told you that no one can come to Me unless the Father has enabled him." From this time many of His disciples (followers) turned back and no longer followed Him. ' You do not want to leave too, do you?' Jesus asked the Twelve. Simon Peter answered Him, 'LORD, to whom, shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We believe and know that You are the Holy One of GOD.' Then Jesus replied, 'Have I not chosen you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil.' (He meant Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, who, though one of the Twelve, was later to betray Him.)"

Are you a true believer in your spirit and heart, or do you think of Jesus with only your mind. There is a great difference! Just as many of Jesus' previous "followers" turned away from Him (as would Judas Iscariot) those who believe only with their minds will do the same. These are the ones at judgment day that Christ will say, "Depart from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels..." (Matthew 25:41) You know you are saved to Jesus' salvation because His Holy Spirit enters you upon salvation. You then have a spiritual knowledge and not just a "head" knowledge of Who Christ is!

People Disagree That Jesus Is From Heaven

John 6:41-42 "The Jews began to grumble about Him (Jesus) saying He was the Bread of Life." 

John 6:43-48  "Jesus answered, 'Stop  your grumbling among yourselves. No one can come to Me unless the Father Who sent Me draws him and I will raise him up at the last day (The Rapture). It is written in the Prophets, they will be taught by GOD. Everyone who listens to the Father and learns from Him comes to Me. No one has seen the Father except Him Who comes from the Father, only He has seen the Father (that is Jesus.) I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life. I AM the Bread of Life...I AM the Living Bread of Life that came down from heaven. Anyone who eats of this bread will live forever." To eat living bread means to accept Christ Jesus into our lives and become united with Him (through the entering of the Holy Spirit.) We are united in Christ in two ways: 1. by believing in His death (the sacrifice of His flesh and shedding of His blood for our sins) and resurrection and 2. by devoting ourselves to living as He requires, depending on His teaching for guidance, and trusting in the Holy Spirit for power. The apostle Paul uses the imagery of flesh and blood in taking communion (I Corinthians 11:23-26)  (Bible commentary)

Jesus Christ alone is the only acceptable sacrifice for mankind, because He is Almighty GOD in the flesh. Mankind is fallen and there is no "good" that any man/woman can do in and of himself/herself to make up for it. "All man's righteousness is as filthy rags before Holy GOD." (Isaiah 64:6) "There is no (man) righteous, no not one." (Romans 3:10) Only by believing what Jesus did for us on the Cross will take away every sin. There is no other way but the Way of the Cross. "He (she) who has ears, let him/her hear what the Spirit says to the churches." (Revelation 2:7)

Jesus is the True Bread from Heaven

John 6:35-40, "Jesus declared, "I Am the Bread of Life. He who comes to Me will never go hungry and he who believes in Me will never go thirsty. But I have told you, you have seen Me and still you do not believe. All that the Father gives to Me will come to Me, and whoever comes to Me I will never drive away. For I have come down from heaven not to do My will but to do the will of Him Who sent Me. And this is the will of Him Who sent Me, that I shall lose none of all that He has given Me, but raise them up at the last day (the Rapture). For My Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, and I WILL RAISE HIM UP AT THE LAST DAY!" The Bread of Life is Jesus Christ and Him crucified for our sins. The Rapture is coming! Whether those who have died in Christ already or we who are still alive, we will be changed in a moment, the twinkling of an eye and rise to meet Him in the air and forevermore we will be with our Almighty GOD in our new resurrected bodies to never hunger, thirst, or sin again! (1 Corinthians 15: 51-55) For this fallen world will no longer have influence over us.

Before creation, GOD had His chosen from Israel and from His Church written in His Lamb's Book of Life! (Ephesians 1:4-5) His sheep hears His voice and (we) know Him! (John 10:4) You can know Him too. Recognize you are a sinner, confess your sin to Him and ask Him to come into your heart, and He will!!!

Jesus Feeds 5000 From Five Loaves and Two Fish

John 6:9, Andrew spoke up saying, "Here is a boy with five barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?" Vs 10, "Jesus said, 'Have the people sit down.' Vs 11, "Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated. He did the same with the fish. Vs 12, "When they had all had enough to eat, He said to His disciples, 'Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.' Vs. 13, "So they gathered them and filled 12 baskets with the pieces of barley loaves left over..." Vs 14, "After the people saw the miraculous sign that Jesus did, they began to say, 'Surely this is the Prophet Who is to come into the world.'" Vs 15, "Jesus knowing their intent withdrew to a mountain to Himself."

Miracles! The miracle of creation! GOD holds the entire universe in His hand, yet He resides in the soul of each believer! He controls every aspect of every atom, for He created them all! Scientist have discovered a violently vibrating mesh inside of each atom and are baffled at why the atom in and of itself doesn't explode! The LORD GOD holds everything together by His very Word! One Day, He is going to let go of His control and every single atom in the universe is going to explode. The atomic bomb is the splitting of ONE atom! Just imagine every single atom in the universe exploding. In 2 Peter 3:10, "The heavens (universe) will disappear with a roar; the elements (that is everything in the universe) will be destroyed by fire..." Verse 12 says, "...the elements will melt with fervent heat!" When this occurs, John in the Book of Revelation says in chapter 21:1, "Then I saw a New Heaven and New Earth for the (present) first heaven and first earth had passed away..." 

Are you going to be apart of Almighty GOD's New Heaven and New Earth? You can be! Jesus Christ promises all who believe in His salvation for them will be apart of this New Existence which will be for eternity! No more tears, no more sorrow, no more sickness, no more aging - youth forever, no more worries or concerns. There will only be peace, joy, happiness, singing, praise, glory, and honor! Read the Book! Especially Revelation chapters 21, 22!

Jesus Supports His Claim

John 5:36-47, Jesus shares, "I have a testimony weightier than that of John. For the very work that the Father has given Mr to finish, which I am doing, testifies that the Father has sent Me. You have never heard His voice nor seen His form, nor does His word dwell in you, for you do not believe the One Who sent Me. You think (by studying the Scriptures) you possess eternal life. These Scriptures testify of Me yet you refuse to come to Me to have life...You do not have the Love of GOD in your hearts. I have come in My Father's Name and you do not accept Me, but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him...If you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me. Since you don't believe him, how will you believe Me?" There is so much of the Old Testament that speaks of Jesus the Messiah, yet they would not believe it, even more so not believing Jesus Who was and is the fulfillment of His 1st coming to save mankind from sin! GOD in the Flesh right in front of them and they would not believe Him. There is a time in the future when He will be ruling from Jerusalem and at the end of that time, there will again be many who will deny His very GODLY presence right before their eyes! Are you one of these who refuse to believe that Jesus is the Christ sent first to be the sacrifice for your sins, secondly to be your King, and thirdly to be your salvation for all eternity? This life is but the blink of an eye compared to an eternal forever that you have to decide here and now to accept Jesus' free gift of salvation.

"Praise GOD from Whom all blessings flow!" He gave me, my property, and house protection from Hurricane Matthew! GOD is Good all the time! He answers prayer. He gives His Love, care, protection, provision, and salvation!
