As you can see, I have been going through my
photo books to get pictures for my blog. I didn't
realize how unorganized these pictures were!
Many won't even stay in the books anymore.
(I wonder why? They are in albums that are
30 years old or more, ha!)
I have even moved them to my dining room
table! I have got to get busy reorganizing
the paper memories!

Thsi is a really good idea as most of the albums from those days have acidic paper and will ruin your photos. if you get archival pages your photos will last longer. I have been going through our photos and have noticed how much the quality of photos has improved over the years. Some of the old color ones are so blurry and almost disintegrating. Thank goodness the black and white have retained a better quality.
Jim and I have boxes and boxes of photos to scan into our computer~ah another retirement activity! We will never run out of things to do before we run out of life!
Have fun getting organized. It does feel so good doesn't it?!

What a job you have ahead of you. I transferred alot of my photos to photo boxes. But I also have some old albums and some shoe boxes full. Someday I will organize. I think I will takes weeks or months.
